Fushimi Inari shrine (walk through fantastic one thousand orange gates)
Drive through Gion district (immerse yourself in a traditional atmosphere where many Geiko(Geisha) and Maiko work)
Nijo castle (travel back to the medieval time in the original wooden architecture)
Lunch
Golden pavilion temple (enjoy gorgeous temple with Zen garden which was once Ashikaga shogun’s villa)
Ryoanji temple (practice sitting meditation and deep contemplation in front of the mysterious rock garden)
Bamboo forest (walk in an amazing forest with thousands of beautiful bamboos)

Inclusions & Exclusions
taxi fare, fuel fee, guide fee, pick-up / drop-off in my business district (my business district : Kyoto city and some neighboring cities)
admission fee(about 400~600 JPY per person), toll, parking fee(about 500~2,000 JPY per car), cost of meals(about 1,000~ JPY per person, for you)
* Additional fare(1 hour ~) is added if the point of departure or destination is outside of my business district. (my business district : Kyoto city and some neighboring cities)
Tour Important Information
Please keep in mind that there are still many parking places, shops, restaurants, temples and shrines that don’t accept credit cards in Japan.
During the tour, although it’s a taxi tour, we also walk a lot. So please wear shoes and clothes in which you can walk easily.
The car model is Toyota SIENTA (compact MPV). 4 to 5 medium-size suitcases are containable if the number of the passengers is 4 or less than 4.
If the number of the passengers is 5, the third row seat is used. The third row seat (for 2 passengers) is for those who are less than 170 centimeters tall. Because it’s a folding one and a bit small. In this case, there’s no space for a suitcase. Only 1 piece of hand luggage for each passenger can be brought in.
Important message from the guide
* Minimum tour length : 4 hours
* Admission fee, toll and parking fee, cost of meals, etc. are not included in the fare, so please pay at each spot.
* Additional fare(1 hour ~) is added if the point of departure or destination is outside of my business district (Kyoto city and some of its neighboring cities).
Example
From Kyoto city to Nanba in Osaka city : 1.5 hour fare + toll for one way(¥3,120) are added
From Kyoto city to Kansai international airport : 3 hour fare + toll for one way(¥4,900) are added
If we start the tour in Kyoto at 9:00 and end at Kansai international airport at 16:00(7 hour tour), the total fare is ¥64,900 (7h+3h+toll).

“Do not hestitiate to book a prviate taxi tour with Hiroshi!”
My partner and I booked a private tour with Hiroshi to see the following sites; Kinkaku-ji Temple, Ryoan-ji Temple, Tenryu-ji Temple, Bamboo forest of Arashiyama, Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple and Shimogamo-Jinja Shrine. I have only good things to say about Hiroshi and the tour. His knowledge and insight of the temples and shrines provided an extra dimension to what we saw that was invaluable. He was professional,very personable and friendly. Close to the end of the tour, I asked Hiroshi what his favorite temples were. Based on his response, we opted to not visit Shimogamo-Jinja Shrine and opted to view Ginkaku-ji Temple. We were not disappointed. Arigato gozaimasu Hiroshi for that wonderful, once in a life-time, memorable experience!

“Fantastic day”
Hiroshi was great. He was so knowledgeable and organized our trip so well. He came very prepared with umbrellas which were only needed once. His knowledge on the various temples and shrines really were appreciated and even some other tourists commented on how it really enhanced their visit as well. He also adapted well to our request to go see plum blossoms in bloom at one of the shrines called Kitano Tenmangu. I highly recommend him. Steven
