This tour covers some of the most famous tourist attractions in Kyoto such as
-Kiyomizu Dera Temple (famous for the panoramic veranda)
-Fushimi Inari Shrine (walk under the 10000 of red Torii gates)
-A hidden gem (quiet and serene)
-Gion (mysterious and fascinating Geisha culture.)
We can change some of these destinations to other places such as
Sanjusangendo (the corridor of 1000 Kannon)
Arashiyama (walk in the bamboo groves and the monkey mountain)
Nijo Castle (one of the most significant sites in Japanese history)

Our family of five adults had a terrific day with Makoon. He took our individual needs and interests into his plans. We saw some highlights as well as off the beaten path sights. Lunch and snacks were delicious. We’d recommend using his services.

Masaki Makkon sang takes care our family so well. He is detail and prompt in replying email and message. He can listen to our needs and wants. He is really passionate about his job and serve it with his heart. He can explain in detail and interesting fact about the story behind the culture. At that time I was not feeling well so I stayed in hotel, but the rest of my family still went ahead. Makkon sang still attentive by asking me how I was doing. Masaki (also known as Makoon) is an incredible guide, but more importantly an incredible person. I could go on and on about him, as he truly was one of the best parts of our entire honeymoon. My husband and I were on our honeymoon for three weeks, spending 3 of the days with Makoon. From the very beginning of my reaching out to Makoon he answered quickly and listened to what we wanted to do in Kyoto and Osaka and created an unforgettable itinerary for us to do. We did an eat your way through Osaka day, as well as a day and a half in Kyoto. In Osaka we went to a castle where he educated us on the history of the castle. We then ate in 8 different spots that day and had the best time learning about Osaka culture. Makoon is so knowledgable about Japanese history and taught us so much about the Japanese culture. He also knows where the best places are to eat and to explore. He even made us a special lunch reservation for a sushi spot in Kyoto. Many of the things he taught us about Japanese history are things we'll never forget. Besides all of the touring, eating, thoughtfulness he put into our experience and conversations - Makoon is an incredible person. Him, myself and my husband laughed and joked together and truly created life long memories. If you want an incredible and unforgettable experience look no further than Masaki! The best part of my work is hearing voice like yours. It's truly an honor to be a part of your wonderful honeymoon. You two are such a brilliant couple. I really enjoyed spending time with you two, and made a lot of amazing memories. I will never forget about Wacky Gator, Mario, chicken curry bun, that man with history of 600 years ... and many more!! My family came to Japan to see my son marry! 3 generations - including a 9 month old!!!! Much planning went into all aspects of the 2 week trip including a visit to Kyoto! I can not praise Makoon enough for his responsiveness in planning, offering of suggestions while in Kyoto - even when we weren’t with him, his flexibility in the plans and great knowledge, and beautiful English spoken and great humor… not to mention the wonderful photos he took!
