Buckwheat noodle making and eating
Do you like Japanese food?
This is special experience to make buckwheat noodle (soba noodle).
At first, Watch carefully how to make soba noodle then try to make it by yourself. After making soba noodle, You can eat it for your lunch.

It is up to your heart and skill.
It takes around three hours. You never forget your nice experience in Japan.
Meeting Point
At Hirooka JR station.
Watch the demonstration “soba making art”.
Make soba by yourself.
Mix buckwheats noodle flour with water.
knead a buckwheats dough.
expand a buckwheats dough.
Fold a buckwheats dough in half
Cut buckwheats noodle from folded dough.
Taste buckwheats noodle.

Inclusions & Exclusions
Guide fee, simple soba noodle lunch cooking fee (only soba noodle)
Soba Ingredient fee:
Individual experience (1500 yen per person, can do the whole process of making soba but not mandatory).
Group experience (3 to 4 members can share 1 set of ingredients which cost 1500 yen. However the making process is shared among members).
You make around 700g - 1000g of soba from 1 set of soba ingredient. You share and eat 700g of soba with 3 person. This is good volume for lunch.
Transportation fee:
Pick up transportation fee at your hotel in Matsumoto & Shiojiri area (to be discussed).
Tour Important Information
Please check your food allergy to buckwheats flour and / or wheat flour.
I do not recommend you to join this tour, if you have allergy.
Bring 2 towels, a pair of slippers and apron with you. (If you do not have them, use hotel’s one? Let’s talk)
Soba school starts from 9:00. From Hirooka station we need 10 min walk to go there.)
This tour depends on the schedule of Buckwheat noodle school.
