We did a one day Kyoto trip with Akira-san. He was nice an accommodating from the start when I started discussing with him my itinerary. He speaks English well and conversing with him was a breeze. He met us at our hotel in Osaka and guided us all the way to Kyoto via train. We has an amazing time in Kyoto. Just manage your expectations as well. He may not be as forthcoming on the must-eat foods, or snacks you may want to buy, but he sure is a good guide that brings you to the key places that you want to go.
Hello Joanna Thank you so much for choosing me as your guide in Kyoto. I hope that you enjoyed Kyoto with me and you could take good many photos. Please come back to Kyoto again. Akira

Akira was very helpful and professional. He knew Nara area very well and gave us plenty of insight for Temples and shrines. We spent half day together walking around and he was very flexible. His English was really good so we did not have any communication problems. I would recommend him as a tour guide.

Akira is the best tour guide in Japan! He has a phenomenal knowledge of Kyoto and the areas he was able to show us. He is kind, caring, and considers all aspects of the tour and the wellbeing of those in his care. We were able to walk the bamboo forests of Arashiyma and the Golden Pavilion. Akira expertly navigated the Kyoto transportation system and knew exactly where he was going. Due to a medical emergency, we had to cut the tour short and were unable to see more sites. However, this is where Akira shined. He came with us to the hospital, acted as our guide and translator during our brief stay in the hospital, and then made sure we made it back to our hotel. He is 100% the best! My wife and I would come back to Japan just to spend time with this amazing person again!
Hello Rj Thank you so much for your nice review. I hope that you are feeling fine and no problem now. please come back to Japan again with your nice wife. Please enjoy Hakone and Tokyo and the rest of time in Japan. Thank you so much for choosing me as your guide. Akira
