Hello！ I am Takako Takata. I was born in Kyoto and grew up in other several districts in Japan
where I was attracted by each place's feature. I started the tour guiding in 2009 in which I introduce interesting and unique spots to tourists. I love to share the marvelous time and moment with people through tours. In Japanese, we have a wonderful phrase expressing such moment and we call it "Ichigo Ichie". It means we have to treasure every encounter, a once-in-

“Excellent Tokyo tour”
We spent 2 days with Takako and had an amazing time! She planned out the days for us and we saw everything. We also had younger kids and had to make some changes and Takako was very accommodating. She made our time in Tokyo so enjoyable. Highly recommend her as a tour guide.

“Very pleasant and amicable guide!”
We enjoyed our afternoon with Takako! We were a group of 3 adults and 3 kids. She connected well with all of us and was able to strike up amicable conversations with the kids as well as adults. She was also so patient with our 2 high energy boys. She guided us with ease along the busy parts of Tokyo including Shibuya crossing and Takeshita street. We also had some peaceful moments at Zojoji temple and Meiji shrine. We ended with eating at a restaurant she recommended and the food was great! She even gave the kids an origami gift that she made for each of them - such a sweet gesture! We will have good memories of Tokyo thanks to Takako!
