Hello！ I am Takako Takata. I was born in Kyoto and grew up in other several districts in Japan

where I was attracted by each place's feature. I started the tour guiding in 2009 in which I introduce interesting and unique spots to tourists. I love to share the marvelous time and moment with people through tours. In Japanese, we have a wonderful phrase expressing such moment and we call it "Ichigo Ichie". It means we have to treasure every encounter, a once-in-

“Great Tokyo walking tour with Takako”

We had a group of seven do a walking tour of Tokyo for six hours with Takako. She was extremely organized. Very efficient. Very knowledgeable. English was more than adequate. She found a great little local lunch spot that was tasty and about half as expensive as some of the higher priced Tokyo restaurants. She is a delightful human being and smile most of the day! Would definitely recommend or use her again for a similar tour.

“Fall Leaves Tour”

Takako is an excellent tour guide. She took my family and me around Ueno Park, the Tokyo National Museum, and Shinjukyu Goen National Garden to see the fall leaves. I'm in a wheelchair, so walking tours can be challenging for me, but Takako's attention and care on our tour made it a memorable day for us. Mahalo, Takako!

the second day of the customized tours

“A unique experience. ! ”

This was our second day with Tako and my husbands birthday so we had corresponded online before hand to arrange something a bit different . We wanted to experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony and Taka organised that as well as suggesting we wear kimonos to the ceremony and had a photo shoot !!!! Whilst a bit nervous ( at our age) to do the latter , it was a lot of fun and we have some great photos to take away with us….. also saw the wonderful Sensi-ji temple, went up the Tokyo tower and had lunch at a back street non tourist restaurant where they cooked the food o n our table in front of us ! What a day ! Thank you so much Taka. You have been a wonderful guide and we truly loved meeting you . Best wishes to you for the future . We hope to meet again one day . Caroline and Paul williams

TakakoOn the second day, since it was your wedding anniversary and birthday, I arranged a special tour for you. As you wished to experience a traditional tea ceremony in an authentic tea room, you first enjoyed the tea ceremony wearing beautiful Japanese attire, and then had many wonderful photos taken at Sensoji Temple by a professional photographer. It must have been a bit tiring wearing a kimono, but you looked absolutely stunning! I’m so glad you enjoyed the okonomiyaki and monjayaki lunch, as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was truly my pleasure to help create a memorable page in your travel story. I look forward to seeing you again! Takako
