Hello! I am Takako Takata. I was born in Kyoto and grew up in other several districts in Japan
where I was attracted by each place's feature. I started the tour guiding in 2009 in which I introduce interesting and unique spots to tourists. I love to share the marvelous time and moment with people through tours. In Japanese, we have a wonderful phrase expressing such moment and we call it "Ichigo Ichie". It means we have to treasure every encounter, a once-in-
a-lifetime-encounter that is , as it may not recur again. This word came from the spirit of tea ceremony. Anyway, let us enjoy extraordinary tours in Tokyo together, shall we ?

“Ms. Takako made our first day in Tokyo truly wonderful.”
Ms. Takako sent us a detailed itinerary in advance, with the flexibility to adjust it as needed. Since it was our first day, we decided to follow her plan—and we’re so glad we did! She even brought a tourist map showing the places we’d visit that day. We learned a lot about Japanese culture and history, and most importantly, we got comfortable using the metro system. One of the highlights was when she taught us how to use chopsticks—something we won’t forget. Ms. Takako is accommodating, patient, and attentive—she could read our facial expressions and tell whether we were enjoying something or not, which is especially valuable when traveling with teens. She was also enthusiastic about taking photos, which made our teens more willing to join in. Thank you Ms. Takako!

Good morning, Bethlehem family! Thank you so much for your prompt review. I'm sure you'll master how to use chopsticks perfectly during your stay in Japan. I'm also very happy to hear that you enjoyed the sushi. There are various types of sushi restaurants in Japan, so I’m sure your teenage sons will have no trouble finding places they like. Did you have a fun time in Asakusa after we said goodbye? I imagine you also enjoyed exploring Tokyo by subway yesterday. Please enjoy your visit to Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara. Thank you for sharing about your country’s culture and cuisine. It’s quite hot these days, so please stay hydrated. — Takako

“Tokyo with Takako”
Takako was a great host, we chopped and changed our minds about places and she was happy to accommodate our choices on the run. She also showed us close by places that were of interest as an add on, thanks Takako

Hi Fiona & Hyden Thank you for your prompt review, even though I’m sure you were tired from all the walking. I really enjoyed sharing the beautiful nature with you. It’s raining today, but I hope you’ve arrived safely in Nagano and are having a great time. The popular tourist spots can be crowded, but I wish you a continued enjoyable journey. Someday, I hope to visit Australia. Takako

“Wonderful day in Tokyo ”
We knew we wanted a guide for our first day in Tokyo but we didn’t know what we wanted to do. Takako put a plan together that introduced us to the City and she showed us sights we never would have found on our own. From sky-high views, to walks in a garden, to the sweets in a department store, to the Nissan showroom. We had a wonderful time and are so grateful for her knowledge and experience! Thank you, Takako-San!

Hello Thank you for the review. I imagine you were tired since you had just arrived in Japan the day before, but I’m glad that both Kurf and Ludo were energetic and enjoyed the walk. It was especially nice that the robot dog, Aibo, woke up after dozing off and gave you a warm welcome. I hope you enjoyed visiting various places in Japan. I look forward to seeing you again. TAKAKO
