Hello！ I am Takako Takata. I was born in Kyoto and grew up in other several districts in Japan
where I was attracted by each place's feature. I started the tour guiding in 2009 in which I introduce interesting and unique spots to tourists. I love to share the marvelous time and moment with people through tours. In Japanese, we have a wonderful phrase expressing such moment and we call it "Ichigo Ichie". It means we have to treasure every encounter, a once-in-

“Fantastic Day with Takako”
We asked for a tour off the beaten track and Takako delivered . We saw a Buddhist temple with a ceremony which was very moving and an honor to witness . Lunch was a small non English speaking restaurant , we got to sample some sushumi and a tray full of food we never could have ordered for a really good price and a great experience. We saw beautiful deserted gardens , museums and shrines . Takako was a great guide and we would thoroughly recommend her

Hello Lisa! Thank you very much for your review & the photo. The ceremony you witnessed is the same as the one that has been continuously performed at the temple founded by Kūkai in the 9th century after his studies in China, located in Mount Kōya. “Great introduction to Tokyo”

“Traditional Towns”
We spent a day with Takako and it was very enjoyable. She was patient and accommodating with all our requests. We went to 2 traditional old towns outside Tokyo and that was a great experience. Our tour took longer than planned and Takako was fine with that. Had a great time! Thanks Takako!

Hello Bev Are you well? Sorry for the late reply. In Tokyo cherry flowers have almost ended but we can still enjoy the shower of cherry blossoms. Thank you for your review telling that you enjoyed the tour and shopping at the two old touns. I was also glad that you loved the soba noodle restaurant for lunch.
