Hello！ I am Takako Takata. I was born in Kyoto and grew up in other several districts in Japan

where I was attracted by each place's feature. I started the tour guiding in 2009 in which I introduce interesting and unique spots to tourists. I love to share the marvelous time and moment with people through tours. In Japanese, we have a wonderful phrase expressing such moment and we call it "Ichigo Ichie". It means we have to treasure every encounter, a once-in-

“A unique experience. ! ”

This was our second day with Tako and my husbands birthday so we had corresponded online before hand to arrange something a bit different . We wanted to experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony and Taka organised that as well as suggesting we wear kimonos to the ceremony and had a photo shoot !!!! Whilst a bit nervous ( at our age) to do the latter , it was a lot of fun and we have some great photos to take away with us….. also saw the wonderful Sensi-ji temple, went up the Tokyo tower and had lunch at a back street non tourist restaurant where they cooked the food o n our table in front of us ! What a day ! Thank you so much Taka. You have been a wonderful guide and we truly loved meeting you . Best wishes to you for the future . We hope to meet again one day . Caroline and Paul williams

TakakoOn the second day, since it was your wedding anniversary and birthday, I arranged a special tour for you. As you wished to experience a traditional tea ceremony in an authentic tea room, you first enjoyed the tea ceremony wearing beautiful Japanese attire, and then had many wonderful photos taken at Sensoji Temple by a professional photographer. It must have been a bit tiring wearing a kimono, but you looked absolutely stunning! I’m so glad you enjoyed the okonomiyaki and monjayaki lunch, as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was truly my pleasure to help create a memorable page in your travel story. I look forward to seeing you again! Takako

“Tsukiji Fish Market, John Lennon cafe and a Palace! ”

We had such a wonderful trip today with Taka. Started at Tokyo station a fabulous building in the middle of Tokyo, had a real Japanese food experience in the fish market with amazing Prawns and seafood, visited the Imperial Palace and gardens then off to the Meiji Shrine in the forest before ending at Shibuya sky where we had tickets for the observation deck . Taka gave us some great insights into general life in Japan as well as the history around the places we visited . It was fun doing everything by train and we got a real feel for how that all works . Overall , a really great day . Thanks so much Taka ….

Dear Paul and Caroline Thank you very much for your prompt review. I was truly happy to spend your precious two days in Tokyo together. On the first day, although it was a cold and rainy day with slippery paths, I’m glad you enjoyed the beautiful greenery of the Imperial Palace and Meiji Shrine, which looked even more stunning in the rain. I’m also happy to hear that you enjoyed the seafood dishes at Tsukiji. The schedule was a little tight, so I hope you weren’t too tired — but I’m glad we managed to make it to Shibuya Sky on time for your reservation. Thanks Takako
