Edo-Tokyo Architectural Museum and Beer Brewery tour
** EDO－TOKYO OPEN AIR ARCHITECTURAL MUSEUM reopens from Mar-23. But BEER BREWERY ARE still CLOSED DUE TO COVID19.
We are visiting Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum and Suntory Beer Brewery. The Architectural Museum exhibits 30 historical genuine houses. They are not traditional but ancient. Also well-known the place where provided seeds of imagination on "Spirited Away" to Hayao Miyazaki. Then we visit Suntory Beer Brewery nearby.
Meeting Point
Shinjuku Station
Meet at Shinjuku station. Hotel pick up is optional.
Meet at Shinjuku station. We will head to Edo-Tokyo Architectural Museum by Train and Bus.

Move to Beer Brewery by Bus and Train.
Suntory Beer Brewery tour, including real fresh beer tasting.

See off at Bubaigawara station orFuchu-honmachi station.
Transport to Bubaigawara station by free Shuttle Bus, or Fuchu-honmachi station on foot.

Tour Important Information
Never on Monday. Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectual Museum is closed on Monday. (When Monday is national holiday, closed following day.)
Beer brewery tour is free of charge but reservation required. The reservation begins three months in advance. (Ex. May resevation begins at Mar.1st.) Please let me know your tour date ASAP. I will make a reservation on behalf of you, and respond you if the reservation is made, When brewery tour is full booked or closed day, we will instead visit Okunitama shrine (1000 year old and high-grade shrine) and Kumano-jinja kofun (Reproducted old tomb).

Ghibli Museum & Edo-Tokyo Architecture Museum Private Tour
“Amazing Trip to Ghibli Museum and Edo Open Air Architectural Museum”
Our family of four had an awesome time visiting the Ghibli Museum on Jan 3rd. Shuichi met us at our hotel and directed us through all the various trains and buses so we didn’t have to plan it ourselves. During our various train rides, we were entertained with trivia, puzzles and origami crafts. Shuichi (Shoe) was helpful, knowledgeable and took wonderful pictures of our family both at the Ghibli Museum and the Edo Open Air Architecture Museum. He shared tidbits of history both at Ghibli and the Architecture Museum which made the personal tour more informative. I’m glad he recommended we leave at 8 so we could get there at opening for the Ghibli Museum as it was definitely more crowded when we left. We highly recommend him if you are looking for a super easy and convenient way to see the Ghibli Museum. We had no problems communicating with him in English. Visiting both museums is a full day tour - we left at 8 from our Tokyo hotel and didn’t get back until 5 taking the subways (which is super clean and orderly). We are so glad we got to tour with him. Ghibli Museum & Edo-Tokyo Architecture Museum Private Tour
“Fun Ghibli Day!”
My teens are big Studio Ghibli fans and this tour didn't disappoint. We thought the Ghibli Museum would be the highlight of the tour, but everyone actually enjoyed the open air museum and the architectural inspiration the most.
