Highlights of Tokyo
If this is your first trip to Tokyo or your first time to have free time in Tokyo, I recommend visiting three major spots.
I will show you the brief history of Japan from the Edo Period to the Meiji Period by explaining these spots.
You can also enjoy shopping in Harajuku or Omotesando and lastly in Asakusa.
I want you to know two sides of Tokyo; historical side and modern side.
Meeting Point
in front of the Harajuku Station (near Meiji Shrine) or at the lobby of your hotel
Meiji Shrine
Meiji Shrine is the biggest shrine in Tokyo dedicated to the souls of Emperor Meiji and Empress Meiji. Emperor Meiji is father of the modernization of Japan.
East Gardens of the Imperial Palace
The Imperial Palace used to be Edo Castle, only the remains are left, Yet you can feel the atmosphere of the Edo Period.
Asakusa: Sensoji Temple
Sensoji Temple is the oldest temple in Tokyo.
Nakamise-dori
It is the shopping street which leads to the temple. You can do shopping here after I leave you.

Tour Important Information
You can turn back the clock to the old times of Japan and at the same time you can enjoy shopping in this tour.
There are a lot of attractive places to visit in Tokyo, yet these three spots are the musts in Tokyo.
Although the Imperial Palace where the royal family live is not open to the public, you can see the main gate and visit the East Gardens where remains of Edo Castle are
left.( The East Garden is open except for Monday and Friday.)
During your trip in Tokyo, you can enjoy Japanese lunch.
If you are vegetarian or particular about food, please let me know beforehand.

From the moment we booked till we concluded the tour, we felt like we were dealing with a caring individual. She plans well and is on time. She explains the various periods well and even gave us a diagram to use for the rest of our trip. Yukiko went out of her way finding great vegetarian ramen for us and adjusting the iternary to my additional requests. She shares a lot about living in Japan and the little hidden gems. “Detailed & knowledgeable and great planner”
Was so pleased with her help in planning our first day in Tokyo. I had a list of where I wanted to go. She double checked availability and found some were closed on Sunday so she help revise the itinerary. She also checked for reservations and made them in our behalf.- saving us disappointment.
