There is another gardens nearby named Kyu-Furukawa-tei Gardens, coupled with a rare combination of the Western and Japanese style gardens. Our group of 8 had the good fortune of having Akira S as our tour guide for two days in Tokyo. On the first day Akira ensured that we had a great visit to Mt Fuji and the next day he showed us the highlights of Tokyo. We found him to be a most accommodating person who was able to customize the tour as per our requirements. We learnt a lot about the history of Japan, it's culture and cuisine during the sightseeing. Thank you Akira san for showing us the best of your country. With warmest regards, Salim Visram & family
Dear Salim-san and all your family. I’m very happy to receive such an encouraging message. I really had a valuable time for two days. It’s mainly because of your friendship where I feel comfortable. You showed me your interest in Japanese culture and history, so you were always listening to me very earnestly. On the first day, it was an unbelievably beautiful day, when we could enjoy viewing beautiful Mt. Fuji. On the second day, it was drizzling and getting cloudy later, when we didn’t have any trouble for walking at all. We were really lucky! Please come again to Tokyo. I’m very much looking forward to seeing everyone of you. I especially hope your brother-in-law is in good shape. Keep contact! Best regards, Akira
Akira was so helpful on our first day in Japan. He showed us how to use the Tokyo subway and generally how to navigate Tokyo and get our bearings by pointing out landmarks near our hotel. He is gave us history and explanations of the landmarks we visited and took pictures of us at each site. It was so helpful to have a local guide us so we could sightsee despite the jet lag. Highly recommend Akira!
Hello Rachelle and Dan. Thank you for the nice review that would help me keep up good work. Actually I got lost while searching for your accommodations, but that has become a good experience for me. You listened to me eagerly because you are interested in many Japanese things, temples, food, souvenirs, buildings, townscape, and so on. Your review makes all my efforts worthwhile. I myself had a good day with such a nice couple. Thank you again. Please come again, then not in a rush. Best regards Akira
I came with my wife and 6 year old daughter to Japan for the first time. Similarly it was our first tour in Japan and I feel very fortunate to have met Akira-san as our guide. From the moment we met him at the lobby, my family was very well looked after. We had been chatting over a few emails before our tour, so when we finally met, it was like meeting a good friend. Akira-san got along very well with my daughter and took us for amazing sushi at Tsukiji market. We also visited several historical attractions and gained so much knowledge on Japan’s wonderful history. Though I have read a lot about the places before my trip, nothing compares to having Akira-san’s personal and informative lessons to give us deeper understanding to appreciate the attractions even more. He even went out of his way to show us more places since we got along so well. By the end of the tour, it was hard to say goodbye since my family had developed a personal attachment to his very fatherly figure. Without doubt I will definitely recommend Akira san to anyone visiting Japan.
Hello Abilash-san. I hope everyone is well. I appreciate your nice review. I’m greatly honored by your kind words that have motivated me much more to be a guide. I really had a great time with such a friendly family. The fact that you learned about Japanese history, culture, and so on beforehand really surprised me and at the same time helped me be a guide. Thanks to that, I felt more rewarded while I explained something at each site because you could understand many things easily. I’m so glad you had a wonderful experience during your stay in Japan. I hope to see you again. Thank you again for everything! Best regards, Akira
We were lucky to have Akira as our guide for Tokyo and would highly recommend. Our plans were changed by the typhoon and luckily we were able to reschedule for a different day with Akira at the end of our trip. He was in constant communications leading up to our day with him and very thoughtful and understanding of the changes. Getting around the mass transit was very easy and accessible. He gave us lots of great information and a local's perspective everywhere we went. He took us to an incredible sushi lunch which had some of the freshest, most delicious sushi we experienced throughout our entire trip. We enjoyed traditional Japanese gardens together and he was very helpful with getting us back to our hotel. He gifted us a souvenir with Mt Fuji to remember our time in Tokyo and it was very special and thoughtful we will always remember our time and would definitely spend another day with Akira exploring when we are back in Tokyo some day.
Dear Anna-san. Thank you for your marvelous and brilliant message that has got me more motivated to do this job. I really had a good opportunity to spend a nice day with all of you and share some stories in Tokyo and me although the typhoon changed your schedule. I’m very glad you enjoyed the tour. I appreciate everyone listened to me with curiosity. I hope the tour gave you a favorable impression to Japan. I very much look forward to seeing you again if you have a good chance to be here. Say hello to Mathew and everyone. Thank you very much again. Best regards, Akira
