In Tokyo, there are so many attractive places where you can have a great time of the day.
I selected five most popular touring spots in the west side of Tokyo; Meiji Jingu Shrine, Harajyuku, Omotesando, Shibuya and Shinjyuku.
It's very good tour focusing on the location, you can save your time and energy. I recommend this tour, especially if this will be your first time visit in Tokyo!
Also there is "Popular spots in the East side of Tokyo" tour on my page. You can cover most of all must-see spots in Tokyo!!
At first, we'll visit Meiji Jingu shrine which has rich culture and history and is about 100 years old now. It was built to commemorate the Emperor Meiji and the Empress Shoken in 1912. As it's located inside of the large forest, you can feel the peaceful atmosphere. It's a very popular Shrine in Tokyo. More than 3 million people visit here during the first three days of the New Year. The contrast between the outside world and inside of Meiji shrine is unique and interesting, feeling like the new and the old coexist in this area.
Then we'll visit Harajyuku(Takeshita street). It is known as the latest fashion trend area, especially for teenagers and it is famous for cos-players who are dressed in costumes. There are a big 100 yen shop, photo sticker machines, pet clothes shops, crepe shops and many casual fashion shops in this area.
Omotesando is the finest fashion area. The main street of Omotesando is called the Champs Elysees in Tokyo. There are many luxurious shops, KIDDY LAND (Toy & animation shop), Oriental bazaar (souvenir shop), Ukiyoe museum and nice cafes & restaurants.
Then next is Shibuya. It is known as one of the busiest districts such as the famous scramble crossing. Let's see a flock of people and across the street without bumping them! We'll stop by the statue of dog called Hachi and other interesting spots in Shibuya and shops!
Our last visiting Spot is Shinjyuku. It's the one of the busiest area and has more than 50 exits of Shinjyuku station! No worry, I will guide this area especially east side of Shinjyuku, so you won't get lost. It's vast area, so I can suggest which area would be good for you depends on your interest.
If you have any questions and requests, please feel free to ask me. I'll reply you as soon as possible.
I'd like to make your stay in Tokyo a real pleasant one. I'm really looking forward to meeting you in my tour!

Yukiko did an amazing job. This was a great experience.
Thank you for valuable review! Since I am the only professional guide who do Live Virtual Tour in Tokyo, I am pleased to hear what you thought about the tour. It's nice to have an option that I can send the real Japan via zoom wherever you live. See you in person next time!
Yukiko was a wonderful and sweet guide. She communicated ahead of our tour so that we could fine tune what we wanted to see. Yukiko was energetic and able to keep up with us, and vice versa. She spoke English well. We enjoyed learning about the sights and neighborhoods on our walk. At the end of our tour, Yukiko gave us a personalized handmade journal of our itinerary, which included tips on public transportation, etc. She also gave us a gift box of cookies/crackers. We will definitely call upon Yukiko to take us around again.
Your review gave me an encouragement and helped to keep my motivation high for guests. Thank you so much. I would like to keep up energetic work for all of my guests. There are many more great sites in Tokyo. Look forward to meeting you again in the future!
We enjoyed a 5 hour tour with Yukiko, which she customised for us according to our family’s interests. She brought us to Ningyocho, a cultural area to visit some shops and food outlets, and we also spent some time working on advanced origami skills (making a dragonfly, then a parasol). Finally we wrapped up by attending a traditional carpenter, and carved our own chopsticks! Yukiko was friendly, knowledgeable and sensitive to our children’s needs/interests. She spoke English fluently. We would highly recommend her services to all.
It was great to hear what you felt and thoughts about the tour! It encouraged me a lot. Trying to find out guest's interests and the process of making your original itinerary are favorite parts of my tour. Let's explore more in Tokyo and make more Origami next time. Domo arigato!!
Yukiko is an excellent guide for our trip to Ghibli Studio (Tokyo). We couldn't purchase tickets as international visitors and Yukiko assisted us with it. She met us at our hotel on time, and even made us a very useful handbook with tips about getting around Tokyo on the public transport. She is also knowledgeable about the background of Ghibli films and history. On the way to the studio, she took us to a Ghibli themed cream puff shop that we didn't know about. Overall, it was a very enjoyable trip!
I was pleased to share enjoyable time with your family! Ghibli is one of my favorite movies. Luckily, we could get different flavored cream puffs and hope you enjoyed the taste as well as cute-looking. Thank you once again, have a wonderful trip in Japan!!
