It is also a popular spot for Tokyoites to spend a weekend or one-day trip.

Meeting Point
Your Hotel (in Tokyo)
- I will meet you up at your hotel.
Train ride from Tokyo to Hakone Yumoto.
Depending on the location of your hotel, I will choose the station, Tokyo Station or Shinjuku Station.
It will be a Shinkansen ride (bullet train) for about 30 minutes or by an express train from Shinjuku, which will take about 1.5 hours.
Hakone Yumoto
Start of the Hakone tour using various transportations, such as a bus, ship, repe-way, cable car and the mountain train.
Arrival at Ashinoko Lake
From here, we take a cruise ship to the opposite side of the lake.
Rope-way ride to the volcano site
Here, you can enjoy the view of the active volcano closely.
Lunch
We take lunch at one of the scenic sites.
Visit to museums, Parks and Onsen (Hot Spring)
There are several muserams, parks and Onsen.
You can enjoy and relax in the nature.

Depending on the location of your hotel in Tokyo, a proper train will be chosen.

Hotel pick-up
==Transportation fee between Tokyo and Hakone:
approx. 7,000 yen per person (round trip)
==Hakone Free Transportation Ticket :
5,000 yen per person (All transportation costs for buses, ship, rope-way, cable car, and the mountain train are included)
You must also pay the transportation fee and the Hakone free transportation ticket for a guide.
==Lunch (for guests and guide)
Tour Important Information
If you would like to stay overnight in Hakone, I could also drop you off at the hotel there.
Autumn is the best season to visit Hakone, and please note there will be many tourists there.

“Highlights of Tokyo with excellent guide”
Atsushi is very friendly and helpful and well organised. He showed us a lot of Tokyo in just one day. We saw Schryns and Temples and of course typically market. We walked a lot and at the end we where tired but happy.

“Atsushi, an excellent guide”
Atsushi is an excellent and knowledgeable guide, who is very fluent in English. In addition to guiding us through Tokyo, he gave us insides in the religious, economic, cultural and political life in Japan. The tour itself was very well structured: we saw the old and the new. We also liked very much the use of the metro to visit the different places. It gave us a good view of how the city functions. We highly recommend Atsushi!

“Wonderful Experience”
We selected Atsushi as our guide and could not be happier. Having not been to Tokyo before and being from the US we could never have seen as much in 8 hours as we did with a local. Atsushi has very good English and has a very pleasant nature. He takes the time to explain the history and the local customs. I want to point out that he customized our day based on our preferences. For instance we wanted to have Ramen for lunch so he suggested a very nice lunch stop. We would hire him again and strongly encourage you to do so.
