“Another Five Star Review!!!”

My family of five adults had a wonderful time in our first day out in Japan, arriving in Tokyo, and having Akira as our guide. If you read all of his other reviews, there is not a lot to add! We chose Akira, because he would show us the “off the beaten path” side of Tokyo, which he did with much knowledge and experience. We had a marvelous time seeing these special neighborhoods and enjoying their delicious cuisine; be it a rice cracker shop, coffee cafe, or friendly restaurant, everything was wonderful. Akira was so thoughtful and took many family photos of us during the tour that he shared with us. Capturing the beauty of the cherry blossoms and the lovely scenery. He also was helpful in explaining the public transportation system and how to book tickets, something that was a concern before our arrival. His kind nature, thoughtful personality, and extensive knowledge of Tokyo are all reasons to have him as a guide. My family greatly appreciated the time he spent with us and he made our introduction to Tokyo and Japan a very memorable experience.

“Akira took me everywhere!”

I’m glad I picked Akira as my guide. He was kind and welcoming and very knowledgeable. He took me to both popular sightseeing spots and local spots off the beaten path away from other tourists. He adjusted where we went based on what I enjoyed and took me to so many places over the two days I spent with him. He also took great photos of me along the way. “Amazing tour”

Akira was the perfect start to our trip. We met him right off the flight from NY and walked some adorable, small local neighborhoods and had amazing coffee (much needed) in Yanaka. You can’t go wrong spending a day with him!
