I will pick you up at Haneda Airport and take you to your hotel in Tokyo.
Upon your arrival, I will assist your travel in Japan such as Money exchange, purchase of SIM and IC card for public transportations.
We will use trains to the nearest station to your hotel so you have to carry your luggage. On the way to your hotel, I will show you how to use the public transportations and recommend useful applications for them for those who want to travel by themselves.

Meeting Point
Haneda Airport (about 1h after your flight arrival)
- Pick-up: I will meet you in front of the tourist information center at Terminal #3 (for international flights). You will find it on your right just out of the customs inspection. Please check out the meeting spot on the picture of this tour. I will wear a derby hat (bowler) and hold my iPad with your name on it. I can send you a short message to confirm my arrival if your smart phone is active on your arrival.

Help: I will help you to do the following to get ready for traveling Japan.

Transportation: I will take you to your hotel in Tokyo, usually by the public transportations.
There are two train companies; Airport monorail and Keihinkyuko line so I will choose the easiest one for you.
You may take a taxi if you want, it is not so expensive and easy if you have many pieces of large baggage; from 5,000 to 10,000 JPY.

The guiding fee doesn't include the transportation cost of you and the guide which is about 1,000 JPY per adult by trains.
I will charge you my lodging cost of 10,000 JPY if the pick up time is earlier than 8:00AM.

About Tour Guide Yuki K.
I was born and grew up in Yokohama. I used to work in Tokyo for more than 20 years. I became the National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter in English in 2013. At first, I had attended a volunteer group which provided a tour of the Imperial Palace East Gardens until 2015. I guided more than fifty times in the garden as a volunteer and studied about Japanese history and culture. Based on this experience, I became a tour guide of this online site in 2015.
Since then, I have guided more than 500 tours in Tokyo as well as Yokohama, Kamakura, Hakone, Kyoto, Nikko, etc., while improving my tours. My tours are very flexible and I always do my best to customize them according to the interests of my guests. I studied about the places and will provide you knowledge to appreciate them deeper than just visiting there by yourself or a member of big group tours. I like foods and I know many restaurants which provide typical Japanese lunch with reasonable price without waiting too long. “Kyoto trip with Yuki.”
We had a wonderful experience with our guide Yuki. We had covered numerous shrines and temples of Kyoto. Walked along Gyon St, visited geishas quarters, exploring some hidden, locally known spots to eat. It is a long day, but absolutely worth it.

Dear Eugene, Thank you for your review. We visited Fushimi Shrine, Sanjusangen-do Temple, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and walked to Gion. Kiyomizu-dera was very busy with tourists. I have another route to enjoy quiet, authentic Kyoto as well, please try it on your next visit. Please give my best regards to your son.

“Like Touring with a Dear Friend: A Delightful Day in Kamakura”
We had the absolute best day exploring Kamakura with our wonderful guide, Yuki! From the moment we met, he was completely punctual and took care of every single travel detail, making the entire trip totally seamless and stress-free. He arranged Green Car train seats for us, which made for an exceptionally comfortable and pleasant ride out of the city. Once in Kamakura, he easily navigated the local buses and trolley-routes and connections we never would have figured out on our own. He selected a fantastic local lunch spot and helped us order delicious, traditional Japanese dishes. Throughout the day, he answered all of our questions, sharing rich histories and teaching us the meaningful rituals at each temple we visited. He even patiently helped me practice a few Japanese words and phrases! Blessed with perfect weather, the day moved at a delightfully easy, unhurried pace. His quiet, gentle, and easygoing personality put us instantly at ease, and we shared plenty of good laughs together. We loved every minute of our day and cannot recommend him highly enough!
