Do you think cherry blossoms can only be seen from the end of March to early April in the Tokyo area? The pale pink-colored cherry blossoms called Somei Yoshino do indeed bloom during that time, but do you know that you can also enjoy cherry blossoms from February to March?
See the deep pink cherry blossoms and yellow rape flowers on the Miura Peninsula in Kanagawa Prefecture, next to Tokyo, and eat the famous tuna around Misaki Port!

Meeting Point
I'll meet you at your hotel in Tokyo 23 wards. Or Shinagawa Station
Start from Tokyo
I'll meet you at your hotel in Tokyo 23 wards. Or Shinagawa station to take a train to Miura Kaigan.
I plan to purchase a combination ticket called the "Misaki Maguro(=tuna) Ticket" issued by the Keiyu Railway Company. This ticket includes go/return ticket and a hop-on hop-off bus ticket, a lunch meal voucher at designated restaurants, and a choice of souvenirs or experiences. It currently costs JPY 4250 pp. from Shinagawa Station if we buy a physical paper ticket.
From Shinagawa station to Miura Kaigan, it takes about 70 minutes. The train departs frequently.
Cherry blossom viewing at Miura Kaigan
You can enjoy about 1,000 Kawazu cherry blossoms along the railway line from Miura Kaigan Station to Komatsugaike Park. It takes about 15 minutes one way to get to Komatsugaike Park. Rape flowers are planted at the base of the cherry trees, so you can enjoy the contrast of pink and yellow.
Move to Misaki Port by train and bus
For lunch, we head to Misaki Port by train and bus. It takes about 30 minutes (Train for 3 minutes and bus for 20 minutes.)
Lunch at Misaki port
Misaki Port on the Miura Peninsula in Kanagawa Prefecture is very famous as a base for deep-sea tuna fishing. The "Misaki Tuna Ticket" includes a meal voucher, so you can choose your favorite restaurant and eat there. The menus served at each restaurant are predetermined. The menus are posted on the Keikyu website, so you can check them in advance.
Sightseeing at Misaki Port
We will take a stroll around Misaki Port, which flourished as a tuna town. I will also take you to Kainan Shrine, where fishermen have strong faith, the "Urari" market, which sells delicious Miura vegetables and seafood, and the "Chakkirako Misaki Showakan" facility, which, if open, displays footage of the nearby traditional dance "Chakkirako," which is registered as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO, and exhibits that show how people lived in the Showa era. This facility is closed on irregular days.
Move to Yokohama, scenic spots nearby, or Soleil no Oka of your choice
Once you leave Misaki Port, the rest is up to you.
Plan 1: On the way back, enjoy eating in Yokohama's Chinatown and taking a walk in Minato no Mieru Oka Park. *It takes about 2 hours by bus and train from Misaki Port to Yokohama. It takes about 1 hour from Yokohama to Tokyo.
Plan 2: If the weather is good, you can enjoy the scenic spots of the Miura Peninsula. I will guide you to Umanose Cave and Umiu Observatory. It is about 30 buses from Misaki Port. You can also take a glass boat from Urari Market. From there to Tokyo, it takes about 2 hours by bus and train.
Plan 3: If you have children, I recommend Soleil Hill. There is playground equipment, and if the weather is good, you can see Mt. Fuji beautifully. *It takes about 1 hour by bus from Misaki Port. From there to Tokyo, it takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes.
Back to Tokyo
We go back to Tokyo from Yokohama, Misaki port, or Soleil no Oka park.
Ending Point
Shinagawa Station or your hotel within 23 wards

“A truly authentic Tokyo evening!”
Great evening with Maki! We started at a local Izakaya, an experience that I could not have had without her being a solo mature woman traveller, as we were the only women in a sea of men. An incredible and unique experience combined with great food. After hearing about my curiosity about standing sushi restaurant, we went to one. And once again, a learning experience with excellent sushi among locals, no tourists. We proceeded to a beer hall that had an interesting history and reason for its creation. We ended the evening by strolling through the serene gardens atop Ginza 6. An evening that exceeded my expectations. I am grateful for the once-in-a-lifetime experience you provided. Thank you Maki!

“Fantastic Ginza evening ”
We had a beautiful evening with Maki who took us on a culinary journey to a beautiful okonomiyaki restaurant and the to a small izakaya. This is an authentic Japanese experience, as a foreigner you cannot experience this on your own, and Maki explained many points of interest. We also had a lovely walk after dinner around Ginza and up to the top of Ginza 6 for the magnificent view of the city. I rated the tour 5 stars because Maki went out of her way to accommodate our interests and food preferences and was so kind and lovely to talk to. You will have a beautiful evening with Maki if you book a tour with her!

Tokyo Ginza Then and Now (Izakaya hopping tour in 3 hours)
You want to experience Izakaya like locals? Are you a little reluctant to drink in Shinjuku Kabukicho or the youth town of Shibuya? If so, I recommend Ginza, Yurakucho area! The area has some different profiles. There are deep izakaya alleys underneath the JR railways that retain a postwar atmosphere and also high-end streets where the district became first westernized after the Edo period. You can enjoy 2 very different types of drinking spots while touching about the history.

One day tour to Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi
This is a trip to see the highest and most beautiful mountain in Japan, Mount Fuji and one of five lakes surrounding Mount Fuji, Lake Kawaguchi. Mount Fuji is an active stratovolcano that last erupted from 1707 to 1708. At 3776m meters, Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan and its top and gentle slopes are surrounded by rich and unspoiled nature. The mountain attracts many climbers during summer, while in winter its snow-covered top and slope gleam pure white in the sun.
