☆The inner market of Tsukiji Market is scheduled to close on October 6, 2018 and move to a new site in Toyosu where it will reopen as Toyosu Market on October 11. For tourists, the inner market will become inaccessible after September 29, while viewings of the tuna autions will already end on September 15. Tsukiji's outer market will remain in business beyond October 2018. We visit outer market in this tour.
☆We might not be able to go all of places depending on how long you would like to stay in one place. However, I try to do my best for you to have a great time in Tokyo.

Maru was very flexible and tailored the tour to our likes. Maru was knowledgeable and provided great running commentary on the various landmarks and areas of interest. Our family had a wonderful time in Tokyo with Maru as our guide. She was very professional and patient with our group of 9, each of who had different ideas of what they wanted to do and see. She let us customize our tour and shared a lot of interesting information about each location. Maru was very friendly and taught us how to navigate the train system. It didn’t seem so intimidating afterwards. We really enjoyed our time in Tokyo with Maru. I am so glad I found her to be our Tokyo guide as we were almost going to go with another company. Maru was exactly the right person to guide us through our first day in Tokyo. She showed us some of the top sights and also personalized the tour to our preferences. We loved the Tsukiji fish market where my sons even all tried tuna sashimi. We went to Sensoji temple and Meiji shrine. We were able to do Shibuya scramble intersection and the Pokemon shop. She was even able to help us get last minute baseball tickets and took us to a wonderful conveyor belt sushi restaurant for lunch that was a little out of the touristy area (which my sons have requested we go to again). She also helped us navigate the subways. Maru was very fun and it was a perfect day!
