If you want to experience a real Japan, I would recommend you 2 major sightseeing spots, Tsukiji and Asakusa. Tsukiji fish market represents for Japanese food culture, Sushi. Asakusa represent for Buddhism culture, Sensouji temple. I am sure you would have unforgettable experience in this tour!
At your hotel (if you stay the hotel at Tokyo)
Tsukiji fish market
Asakusa, Sensouji temple
I show you many Tsukiji food at many spots. I will change Tsukiji town into one big restaurant, as if Tsukiji market would be buffet style restaurant, all you can eat. You can taste fresh tuna and seafood as you like.
First of all, you can enjoy fat tuna. 70% of store in the market deal with tuna, because tuna is king of Sushi.
Then you can taste oyster, crab and sea urchin. You can eat not only sashimi (raw fish), but also grill ones in street stand.
Not only you can taste local Japanese food, but also you can learn Japanese food culture. In Tsukiji, you can see how to preserve the freshness of fish, what is a secret of Sushimi. For example Sushi knife at Tsukiji is extremely reliable and super strong. If you are looking for good knife, Sushi knife is so good.
If it's sunny, I will take you to beautiful Japanese garden, next to Tsukiji market. At teahouse there, you can drink powdered Japanese tea (Matcha), used at tea ceremony.
Asakusa is traiditonal fancy town, and if you are looking for Japanese traditional items as suvenior ( folding fan, Chopstick, wind bell Japanese lantern and so on), it has big shopping street good enough for you. Then you can see Sensouji temple, very famous big lantern at the gate of this temple. If you have an interest in wearing Japanese traditional clothes (Kimono), you can use the service of rental kimono (3000 yen).
Please enjoy Japanese cultural experince in Tokyo !

Hiroshi (Gucci) was very good with communication before we met, making suggestions about itineraries and what was really do-able in one day. He was prompt and personable. He allowed me to set the pace (choosing when/where for lunch), and didn’t mind me spending some time for souvenir shopping. We used the subway a LOT (tip = buy the subway day pass!), and also did miles of walking. I was able to go out myself the next day sightseeing with confidence. On our day together we saw the Tsukiji fish market for breakfast, Asakusa Shrine, outer Imperial Palace, Shibuya, ramen shop, Meiji Shrine and Harajuku! Phew! Gucci’s English is great, as he lived in the US for a few years. Good guide to get you around the city to the highlights for sure!
Dear Allie. Thank you very much for your message. I am so glad for you to enjoy the tour in Tokyo. I hope see you soon someday. Best regards Gucci
We visited during Cherry Blossom Season. I gave Hiroshi (Gucci) the impossible task of us visiting many places in one day. Prior to booking, Hiroshi was patient and helped me in customizing our itinerary. He was prompt the day of our tour. I then told him we needed to cut our tour by 45 mins due to us having to go to show. He adapted well and rushed us when necessary at various sites. He is a reserved soul that will answer your questions and will follow your itinerary. He brought us to the best Ramen restaurant! We are back in the US and still think about that Ramen. Great job overall.
Dear Stacy.I am so glad to hear you to enjoy Ramen. It was a great time to talk to you and your family. Thank you so much Gucci
This was an amazing day trip! Guchi was kind enough to meet us at the hotel and show us how to use the train system. Learning the train alone was invaluable! The walk with Guchi up Mt Takao was fun and exciting. He had us try local treats and was very knowledgeable about the mountains history and customs. We were very lucky to be visiting on a special day and see the Monks blessing the shops and restaurants along the path. We highly recommend Guchi as a tour guide and the Mt Takao excursion! Thank you Guchi for a great day!
Dear, Michele. Thank you very much for send me the message. I am happy to hear from you. I also enjoy the talk to you and it was good memory to see Buddhist monk at that day. I hope the stay at Tokyo was good for you. Best regards Guchi
My wife and I are extremely happy we chose Hiroshi as our guide while on our first visit to Tokyo. His English is excellent. He is bright, personable, and quite well informed about all aspects of present day and past history of this fascinating city.
Dear Eric. It was my pleasure to talk to you about Japan and USA. I am very happy to guide you on tour of Tokyo. I hope you will have a great time in Japan. Have a safe trip. Best regards Guchi
