Kanda Myojin
Kanda Myojin is a Shinto shrine, it was much revered by the warrior class. In particular, during the Edo period, general Tokugawa-Shogun Tokugawa- paid high terpect to the shrine, which later gained popularity amongst the general public.
Thus "Kanda Matsuri" or the Kanda festival held every other year in May has come to become one of the three most renowned festival in Japan.
We can see "Mikoshi"- portable shrine- which is carried over with people and go around for the festival.
Also there is a cafe, serving matcha tea, coffee, drinks and light meal.
Yusima Seido - the Mousoleum of Confucius at Yushima
Yushima Seido is dedicated to Confucius, the founder of Confucianism. His teachings were introduced into Japan in the 6th century; together with Buddhism, they have had a great influence on Japanese life and culture.
The first sacred hall was built here in 1690 by Hayashi Doshun with support of Tokugawa Tsunayoshi-the fifth Tokugawa shogun. It was destroyed by fire, as were several replacements; the present building was reconstructed in 1935. It enshrines a stature of Confucius.
