Yokohama is one of the oldest port towns which Japan opened for foreigners back in 1859. Since then, Yokohama grew and developed mostly with merchants from all over the world. The charm of Yokohama lies in its diverse culture, old and new. This tour includes visits to Red brick warehouses, Osanbashi pier, Yamashita park and lunch at Asia's largest China town. After the Chinese lunch we will walk around the town of Yamate, where you can see and visit several historical European style houses.

Meeting Point
At hotel at Yokohama

Yokohama red brick warehouses
It used to be Yokohama Customs office's warehouses. It is now fully renovated and turned into a fashionable shopping center where it houses a lot of shops and cafes.
Osanbashi Pier
Osanbashi is formally known as International passenger terminal, where giant cruise ships from all over the world frequently come to visit. The huge wooden structure is worth the visit. From Osanbashi Pier we will walk to Yamashita park before going to China town for lunch.
China Town
We will eat our lunch at China town. It has a very wide variety of Chinese Cuisine ranging from Cantonese, Sichuan, Shanghai and others. I will arrange the best meal based on your preference and price range.
Yamate Area
Town of Yamate was an area where a lot of rich European merchants built their houses and lived during Meiji periods. There remains some seven old traditional European style houses ranging from British, French and Italian. We can visit all of them or choose whatever you would like to go in and see. We may enjoy English tea at one of the houses . After a tour of Yamate area, We will take a train from Ishikawa-cho station to finish our tour at Yokohama station.
