Yokohama is one of the oldest and largest ports in Japan, which the Tokugawa Shogun government had opened for foreign countries back in 1867. Since then, the port of Yokohama has been a home for a lot of foreigners and played a big role in bringing a variety of western culture into Japan. In this tour, we will visit those places where we can witness and experience the origins and the remains of traditional Yokohama, which helped to build the current modern Japanese culture.
