“Bobby is Exceptionally Amazing”
Bobby was very responsive with contact prior to our tour and meet us at the cruise port promptly as promised. She took us on an incredible walking tour, showing us some of the best highlights. She was very flexible in planning our day to match our interests. Bobby even purchased tickets for the places we visited prior to our arrival so we could avoid long lines and waiting, making every moment of our time together pleasant. Her English is very clear and easy to understand. She has so much knowledge about Hakodate that she easily answered all of questions. We had 5 ports during our 10 day cruise and we ranked this tour #1. If you are visiting Hakodate and Bobby is available you should consider yourself Lucky. We strongly suggest you book her services if you want to explore this city as a local and not a tourist. Thank you again Bobby for the most Amazing Day!

Thank you so much for the amazing review Heide! It’s way beyond my expectations and you truly made my day!! Your family was so warm and full of wonderful smiles, and it became a truly unforgettable and special time for me too. I'm so grateful that you were looking forward to coming to Japan. Thanks to that, I had the chance to meet all of you. I feel deeply honored and happy to have been a part of those memories. I look forward to the day we meet again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

“Tokyo Tour”
Hi Koji. Thank you for everything and the wonderful two days we spent exploring Tokyo. Thank you for also helping navigating the rail system and Shinkansen. Koji is an excellent guide for your travels in Tokyo!

Well, how does working with Atsuko two years in a row sound as far as a recommendation :) I commented last year how it felt more like walking around with a friend who knew everything about the area we were touring. I had to remember it was a guided tour. Last year was a one 4 hour tour. This year I booked two 4 hour tours and couldn’t be happier. I think what I like most is how willing Atsuko is to join in on activities. Granted for me that’s typically eating, but whether it’s street food or lunch Atsuko is just one more person at the table, trying street food or playing at the cat cafe. I suppose everyone has a different idea of what a guide should offer, but for me forgetting your guide is a guide but a friend exploring and experiencing everything with you … well, that’s my description of a great tour guide! I can’t recommend Atsuko highly enough if my version of success matches your idea of what a guide should offer. (The red rain coat was great for not getting lost in the crowds!)

March to May and September to November are the best times to visit Japan because the weather is warm but not blazing and cool but not freezing.
Of course, March to May is Sakura season, so tourism is high during this time. To escape the crowds, try traveling from December to February. June to August is hot and moist, and May to June is rainy.
