“Outstanding Private Guide Experience with Kaori”
We had the immense pleasure of spending three unforgettable days with Kaori as our private guide during our trip to Japan, and we can say without a doubt: she made our journey truly extraordinary. Kaori guided us through Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara with incredible knowledge, passion, and warmth. Thanks to her, we discovered places, stories, and local insights that we would have never found on our own. She didn’t just show us the sights — she brought them to life. Kaori opened doors to the rich history and deep culture of Japan in a way that was both personal and unforgettable. She shared not only historical context and cultural background, but also helped us understand modern Japanese life and people — something that made the experience even more meaningful. Her English is excellent, her organization flawless, and her enthusiasm absolutely contagious. If you’re considering a private guide in Japan, look no further. Kaori is simply exceptional. We are deeply grateful for the time we spent with her, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who wants more than just a sightseeing tour — a true experience. Thank you, Kaori, for everything!

“Heartfelt Thank You”
I wanted to express my deepest gratitude to my wonderful guide Ms. Keiko for making my trip unforgettable. You were amazing, your kindness and passion for sharing your culture made this experience very special. We visited Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, and she pointed out the history of shrine and the iconic scenery surrounding it. You then took me to eat some Kobe Beef Katsu; it was so delicious. Thank you for recommending this place and sharing a meal with me. Afterwards we ended up on a boat on Lake Kawaguchi, the view was spectacular. Even more spectacular was earlier that day, the clouds were covering up Mt. Fuji and we couldn't see it but out of luck or divine intervention the clouds cleared up for about 30mins and we were able to get a clear view of Mt. Fuji. Your stories and explanations added so much depth to our trip. Thank you so much for being a great listener, what really touched me was your kindness and openness. I loved how I was able to share my thoughts and stories with you so easily. You made me feel very welcomed. I'll never forget the few phrases you taught me in Japanese! It helped me feel more connected with the culture. Thank you once again for being a wonderful person and for the wonderful experience. I hope our paths cross again someday and until then please know how grateful I am for all you shared with me. "Otsukaresama"

“Yasu - Renaissance Man”
I will let Yasu tell you about himself. I think we probably only scratched the surface. Suffice it to say, he is undoubtedly the most overqualified guide out there. His knowledge of Japanese history (and world history, and religion, and marine biology, and...) is beyond extensive. He is wonderful to talk to and to learn from. We really enjoyed our day with him.
