The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building has two towers, which are both open for public. Not only fun to go to for the magnificent view, but the souvenirs here are great!
North Tower
Apart from a different view than you’d have from the South Observatory, the north tower of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building Observatory has a more extensive souvenir shop. If you walk around the café in the middle to the farthest souvenir shop island, it will reward you with a souvenir perfect for any narcissist. Here, you can imprint your face on a mini figurine!
They have a range of figurines to choose from, such as ninjas and Japanese brides, bears, crocodiles or robots. First, you make a picture of your face in the special photo booth. Center and adjust it, print it, and stick it onto the figurine of your choice. Even if you don’t love yourself as much, give it to someone else, the end product is sure to bring a smile to the face of any receiver.
