I had worked for the Japan's biggest travel agency JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) for 35 years as a tour escort for Japanese. I visited 68 countries and of course all over Japan as well. So I’m familiar with almost all of the tourist attractions in Japan. More over I’m also a professional magician now. I’m a member magician of The Magic Castle in Hollywood in US. That's why I made a decision to become an English tour guide. I acquired a tour guide license issued by the Japanese government with a lot of hard work in 2016 and I started from the following year. I work as an English guide approximately 130 days a year. My wife is physically disabled, and I usually care for her. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I receive home care and bathing services, so I am unable to go out during the day as I have to prepare for and clean up afterwards. I am available to guide on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I can take up to four people sightseeing in my private car. “Amazing time in Takachiho Gorge with Katsu!”
We had a wonderful time with Katsu on our road trip to Takachiho Gorge. It was the perfect relaxed schedule that allowed for last minute changes and just amazing views and experiences. Special thanks to Katsu for securing a boat for us at Takachiho Gorge in advance of the trip (amazing he was able to do it!!) and being unflappable when my daughter had a (very unwarranted) panic attack over going near the volcano (thank you, Katsu!!). It was an absolutely lovely day - we couldn’t have asked for more. I highly recommend this tour and highly, highly recommend going with Katsu on it. You will have a wonderful time!

“Very accommodating and knowledgeable!”
Morry san took us around itoshima and planned the itinerary based on what we wanted to do. It was unfortunate that one of the places we wanted to go to hadn’t opened yet, but Morry san immediately found us an alternative solution. He is extremely experienced and well travelled, so he has many stories to tell not just about the places we are visiting but other countries or parts of Japan as well! Additionally he shows us magic tricks that astound us in the pockets of time that we are waiting. I highly recommend him!

“A delightful visit.”
On 16/9/2026, I visited the Takasakiyama monkey mountain. It was a delightful visit, seeing how the cute little monkeys move about in their environment and especially when the feeding time arrived, how they interacted with their caretaker. Hitomi expert explanations on the monkeys and their forested environment was very enlightening. But before we came here, along the way , we passed by a big aquarium centre. Though it was not on the scheduled tour place to visit, Hitomi kindly agreed to visit the aquarium first. It was wonderful to see the playful seals demonstrations, the many coloured fishes in the tanks within a wonderful environment. The day ended on a happy note thanks to Hitomi.
