Hi! I am Kazue. I am from Fukuoka and live in the central city. I spent almost 20 years traveling around the world as a cabin attendant. Meeting different people, different cultures and eating local food were best things in my career. This experience definitely widened my perspective and will help me in some way when I work as a guide. Since I spent half my life outside of Japan, I noticed our culture and traditions are very unique and became more interested in historical sites in Japan. For my personal life, I am a mom of twins. But I assure you Hakata is the best place in Japan to visit and live, since you can visit Kyushu everywhere with stay in Fukuoka as hub and visit Nagasaki, Miyazaki, Oita , or Kagoshima , all of them are wonderful attractive places. Kyushu is actually the origin of Japan in Japanese mythology, which generated the Japanese Shintoism in Takachiho Gorge. There are so many attractive places to see and so many fabulous foods to eat , fresh fish, beef, Motsunabe, Udon, and so many foods were generated from this region. I can introduce and explain a lots of stuff about here to you . To talk about my career, I started to work at company Panasonic and after that , I walked on the career for Automotive component as sales working for American companies. “A Wonderful Day Discovering Fukuoka with Kazue”
We had a wonderful walking tour of Fukuoka with our guide Kazue, and it truly became one of the highlights of our visit. Kazue took us through the charming streets of Hakata Old Town, sharing stories and cultural insights that made the history of the area come alive. One of the most memorable moments was visiting Nanzoin Temple and seeing the magnificent Reclining Buddha of Nanzoin. Standing before such an impressive statue was truly breathtaking. We also explored the lively Tenjin Chikagai, where Kazue helped us navigate the area and recommended some fantastic places to eat in Fukuoka. What made the experience extra special was Kazue herself. She was warm, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable, and her love for Fukuoka really shines through. Thanks to her, we didn’t just see the city—we truly experienced it. Thank you, Kazue, for such a memorable day. We will always remember Fukuoka fondly because of this tour.

“Extremely Friendly and Thoughtful”
Katsuhisa kept in regular contact with us leading up to the tour and allowed us to customize the tour to include the Miyajidake Shrine. When the forecast called for rain in the morning, Katsu rearranged the order of the tour so that we weren't too affected, and we even made it back to catch the sunset on the Path of Light. Beppu was very interesting and we enjoyed our lunch cooked by the onsen stream. His car is new and comfortable. We would highly recommend Katsu as your tour guide.
