I am Australian, from Sydney originally but my life with Japan and its culture and history spans 30 odd years and I have been a Hiroshima resident for 18 of those 30 years. Dear Troy-san, Thank you so much for your warm message and great evaluation. I ‘d like to thank you myself. I got carried away and took you both around many places in hot and humid weather. However, both of you followed me despite your fatigue. Now I am very happy to read your message and know that you truly enjoyed the various experiences. Today’s view of Miyajima was excellent. The view of Seto Inland Sea from the top of the mountain was so clear that we could sea Shikoku Island in the distance. Often the view is hazy, but today’s view was as perfect as the Miyajima brochure. And deer were relatively well-behaved today. I think it is a sign that Miyajima has welcomed two of you. I was very impressed by your caring attitude toward each other. I reminded myself that I should be nice to my family as well. If you have a chance, please visit Miyajima in autumn together.
