“Very informative ”
She was a lovely and kind guide and really made our day special. Showed us a bamboo forest and the home of a famous Japanese actor, which gave us an incredible view of the city below.

Hello Ms. Taylor, Thank you for your kind review and comment for me. I really enjoyed doing this Arashiyama tour and talking with all of you. It was a beautiful day. We could see the picturesque sceneries in Arashiyama. I think you enjoyed Nishiki Market on the next day. Please say hello to everyone. Thank you. Best regards, Atsuko
“Great day trip in Kyoto ”
We had an incredible day around Kyoto, Takashi made sure that we enjoyed it as much as possible. He planned out a perfect trip around with enough room for us to learn, shop, eat and take pictures. He guided us around and showed us the main attractions of the city. He is super friendly, nice and accommodating, and thanks to him, we also learned a bunch about history,culture and everyday japanese life. He even helped out with recommendations and guidance outside of the tour, which really made a difference. We are really greatful for that! Highly recommend, if you're in Osaka or Kyoto. Thanks Takashi :) !

“Kanae is a very wonderful guide ”
Our best travel experiences have been those where we’ve been accompanied by someone who truly knows the territory. Showing people around especially strangers can be very testing, so mutual respect & consideration is most essential. Kanae , It was a pleasure to have your company during our brief stay in Kyoto and we trust we will meet again soon Warren & Geraldine.

Absolutely! Kyoto has achieved the perfect balance of remaining close to its historical roots as Japan's original capital, rich in culture and customs, while including modern conveniences and tourist-friendly services. It's one of Japan's most tour-conscious cities, next to Tokyo.
That's a tough one! Kyoto has history, slow living, and breathtaking landscapes. Osaka has fantastic food and modern conveniences and is slightly more affordable.
Osaka is great for;
Kyoto is ideal for;
The greatest thing about these two cities is that they're just a train ride away from one another. So whichever you decide, the other option is only 15 minutes away.
Kyoto is often considered more beautiful than Tokyo because of the visually stunning architecture and Edo period buildings, especially those that highlight the nagare-zukuri style. It’s almost like a time machine. City lovers will consider Tokyo more beautiful thanks to its glowing billboards, high-end hotels, buzzing restaurants, and nightlife. Our recommendation? See both and decide for yourself. Tokyo and Kyoto are only 2 hours apart.
