If we can't see the mountain, I would recommend Oshino Hakkai and Aokigawara forest in the following general itinerary.

We are going to hike from 1st station to 5th station on Yoshida trails. Climbing season over 5th of Mt Fuji is from July 1 ~ Sep10. However, you can hike from the first station to fifth station on Yoshida trails in most seasons. You see many plants along trails and see a few lakes if the weather is good. I recommend these people who come to Mt Fuji out of climbing season or who would like to experience not too hard climbing.

“Great tour for Gotemba ”
We did a tour of the beautiful town Gotemba on April 15! Yumiko was able to show us some amazing cherry blossoms across a variety of parks and gardens. We also saw Mt. Fuji it was very beautiful. Thank you Yumiko for your friendly tour and hopefully we can visit Gotemba again one day!

“Amazing tour!”
We had a private tour with Chinami for 6 hours in the Mt. Fuji area. Wow, we packed a lot in and got to see everything. Chinami was so informative, helpful and had such a great personality that it may for a memorable experience. She picked us up at our hotel, we went to Chureito then Oshino, Kitaguchi and a sake tour and tasting. We love our tour by Chinami!!

The itinerary included more than original one, so we kind of rushed, but covered most of traditional parts including local noodles, HOTO! “Tour of Fuji and Nikko”
We spent two days exploring out of Tokyo with Mura. He said in his biography that his "basic policy as a tour guide is to entertain my guests with my best hospitality" and Mura certainly lived up to this and we felt very welcome with him. He scheduled the trips well and we never felt rushed or needed to ask to rest. He was able to answer all of our questions about Japan and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him! (This review is duplicated on the other day booking)
