Lake Kawaguchi is the most popular place to view Mt. Fuji. I will take you to Arakurayama Park, which is the most popular place to take the picture of Mt. Fuji with the Pagoda. We will take a direct express train from Shinjuku in Tokyo to Lake Kawaguchi to avoid the traffic jam by a highway bus. The possibility of viewing Mt. Fuji is shown in the photo. The Ochudo, also known as Middle Road, was a special trail for ascetic practitioners that circled Mt.Fuji at the level of the fifth station. We are going to hike from 1st station to 5th station on Yoshida trails. Climbing season over 5th of Mt Fuji is from July 1 ~ Sep10. However, you can hike from the first station to fifth station on Yoshida trails in most seasons. You see many plants along trails and see a few lakes if the weather is good. I recommend these people who come to Mt Fuji out of climbing season or who would like to experience not too hard climbing.

“Stunning hike at Mt Fuji”
Midori was an attentive guide. She planned and coordinated our entire 8 hour day taking into account what we wanted to see and do and included our particular food preferences (Hoto Noodles!). We wish we had her on more of our trip to keep things running smooth and seamlessly.
