“A spectacular day!”
Fumi was AMAZING. Good communication leading up to our day made meeting super easy. We stuck to the written itinerary really well but didn’t feel rushed at all. Fumi was always ready to take our picture. My only regret is not asking her to be in one with us. I chose Fumi for a few reasons but one was I figured she would make my teenager the most comfortable. And I was right. She was so easy to get along with. Very knowledgeable and fun. I really can’t say enough good things about her. Fumi made our day in Kyoto the perfect experience we were hoping for

“Yukiko is an absolute gem of a guide!!”
This was my second time hiring Yukiko as a guide in Tokyo, and once again, she exceeded all expectations. While I’ve visited Japan several times before, this was the first time for my partner and family, and I wanted them to experience the city through the eyes of someone who truly knows and loves it. Yukiko was the perfect choice. We spent the day exploring iconic neighborhoods including Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku, Asakusa, and the Imperial Palace, as well as the peaceful grounds of Meiji Jingu. Yukiko was patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and wonderfully communicative throughout. She seamlessly adapted the pace and itinerary to suit everyone’s energy levels and interests, and was always attentive to our needs—from food preferences to photo stops to historical curiosities. She has a gift for making the complex stories of Tokyo feel personal and alive. Her warmth and genuine passion for Japanese culture helped my family connect with the city in a meaningful way. Even my usually reserved partner was engaged and smiling the entire time. If you’re looking for a guide who is thoughtful, flexible, and truly cares about your experience, I cannot recommend Yukiko enough. She made our Tokyo visit unforgettable. Thank you, Yukiko

I can't recommend Carol highly enough. She is an amazing local guide with vast experience of Tokyo and Japan. Our whole itinerary was customised including last min changes on the day. Carol is lovely and I had the best time seeing the city in her company!
