“Hero is the best! ”
Hero provided an excellent day of Okinawan travel and discovery. His knowledge of Okinawa history is unsurpassed. He explained every historical sight we visited very thoroughly. His 32 years of military experience enhanced our understanding of Okinawa history. Hero is a true professional who was accommodating of our needs. I would highly recommend him.

“Wonderful Day with Harry in Okinawa”
Harry is a delightful Japanese man with an excellent command of English. He customized our tour of Okinawa so that it perfectly handled one of us in a wheelchair. We spend most of the day outside of the big city of Naha, which I recommend to anyone visiting Okinawa. We visited a cultural village with some quiet and quite raucous music and dancing which you can join in on (I did). We visited the some great pottery places using old-style wood kilns. Next on to beautiful old Zakimi fort (not handicap accessible), but just great if you can climb up a hill. n We went out to the Cape with its lighthouse and sweet potato ice cream. The back south to Naha for the Museum which is full of interesting artifacts brought to life by the very knowledgeable Harry. A varied and special day!

Dear Mark-san and Larry-san, Thank you very much for your kind and thoughtful review. I truly enjoyed spending the day with you both! Our conversations were not only enjoyable but also inspiring. Through your stories and interactions, I was reminded of the many forms of richness in life—the value of mutual respect, continuous curiosity, and the joy of lifelong learning. I wish you wonderful weather tomorrow in Ishigaki and the rest of the journey full of discovery, enjoyment, and meaningful experiences. Looking forward to seeing you again someday! Warm regards, Harry

“Wonderful places, fantastic guide! ”
My stay in Naha was just one of 5 places I was staying over the course of 8 nights, so while I could look up places to go and see, I decided Noriko san's overview of the city best for my needs. As someone who's interested in traveling and seeing the world myself, I'm impressed with the wealth of knowledge Noriko san brings not just regarding Okinawa, but also the world in general. She met me at my hotel and drove me to Naminoue Beach and Shrine, where she shared some background and historical information. We proceeded to Fiukushu-en where she pointed out architectural details of Okinawa and how Chinese architecture influenced much of early Okinawa. She then ferried me over to Shuri-jo where were able to see incredible views of the city and come to understand some of what transpired prior to the end of WWII. Prior to meeting Noriko san, I'd already explored the other spots on the itinerary, so she pivoted and took me to a few other interesting spots instead including an evening Hotspot where we stopped for Okinawan tacos, Daruma Temple, the Manko Waterbird and Wetland Center, and the Umikaji Terrace on Senaga Island, where we watched for sea life and did a little bit of #planespotting. When we'd completed our tour, she even dropped me off at the car rental agency, so I didn't have to get a taxi ride back there from my hotel. 5-star service and hospitality! I truly enjoyed my time exploring Okinawa with Noriko san, and I hope our paths cross again in the future. Joe (USA, Ohio)
