On December 21st, an event called "Ōshime-sai" (Grand Shimenawa Festival) will be held at Miyajidake Shrine.
During this event, the largest shimenawa (sacred rope) in Japan is replaced. This massive shimenawa, crafted with the combined efforts of approximately 1,500 people starting in early November, measures 2.6 meters in diameter, 13 meters in length, and weighs 3 tons.
If you are interested in this event, why don't you join it?
