Beautiful lavenders and Blue Pond in July
Furano and Biei are located in central area in Hokkaido, and most popular tourist destinations with nature. In July, lavenders are full bloom in Tomita Farm. You would be amazed with wonderful fragrance. The clear emerald-green waters attract people from all over the world. Let's enjoy hands-on experience in Fureai Farm. Blue Pond
Shirogane Blue Pond was made by accident, as the by-product of attempts to control mudslides. Aluminium that has seeped into the water scatters the sunlight, causing the pond to look blue.
Shirahige waterfalls
Shirahige, white beard waterfalls is close to Blue Pond. Blue Pond and the waterfalls has the same water source. We can overlook the clear emerald-green river from the bridge.
Shikisai-no oka
The panoramic flower gardens of Shikisai-no-oka provide spectacular views across fifteen hectares of land on Oka-no-machi Biei. It is a paradise of seasonal blossoms from spring through to fall, in which several dozen different species of flowers and grasses flourish. Why not come and enjoy the beautiful fragrance of the blossoms amid spectacular panoramic scenery?
Farm Tomita
Farm Tomita is one of Hokkaido’s most iconic attractions, drawing around a million guests annually. The farm offers not only flower fields, but also, lavender dry flowers, snack stalls, and lavender flavor soft ice-cream.

“A Beautiful City”
This was our second tour with Miyuki and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. Otaru is quite beautiful and even more so as it was snowing. We never felt rushed with Miyuki and she was happy to let us look in any of the shops that we passed and even encouraged us to do so. My adult daughter was particularly impressed as other guides have rushed us past shops. We were booked to make glass beads however the shop was not open at the time Miyuki had booked. This did not deter her as she adjusted the itinerary to have lunch and tried to find another venue. We ended up at the original shop at a later time and it was a lot of fun. Our final stop was the sake brewery and after showing us through Miyuki went back to collect our bead creations so we didn’t have to backtrack. We all thoroughly enjoyed our day thanks to Miyuki.

“A Wonderful Day”
I cannot recommend Myuki highly enough. We saw sights of Sapporo that we would never have found on our own and certainly not in one day. Miyuki was very flexible in her approach and we were not locked in to a rigid itinerary. She adjusted her walking pace to accommodate my husband who is slower due to a back injury and provided us with plenty of information on what we were seeing. A highlight for us all was the shrine and the park surrounding it. This tour made it clear that you see and learn much more with a local guide.
