The attractions of this nostalgic port town named " Tomonoura" are within distances from the bus stop and it's comfortable walking. You may be surprised to see KUBIZUKA( the mound for severed head ) is among old houses where people live their every day life. In this small fishing town, life and death coexist naturally. Time is passing slowly in this town.

Azusa was absolutely delightful, informative, warm and passionate. Azusa listened to what we wanted to do and was flexible to structure our time to suit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Azusa.
Dear Damien san I really appreciate your kind words. Your message motivates me a lot. I am so happy to know that you had a fulfilling day though the tour was in cold weather. I hope you will fully enjoy New Year's holidays in Japan. Be careful of eating too much rice cakes ! Rice cakes are rich in calories. Sincerely, Azusa Arita
Am so glad to have engaged Azusa-san as my guide as she made the process of planning the tour easier for me, offering suggestions and ideas and assisting whenever i had questions about the itinerary. In real person, she is very friendly and speaks good english that my family, including my older kids could understand, which was very useful when she tried to cover the history and facts of each attraction we visited. She took the extra mile to bond with my kids and we had a good time chatting over lunch. Feel very comfortable with her that we went with her recommendation on lunch options and souvenirs which turned out to be the best decision we made. Thank you Azusa-san for your hospitality and warm service that made our stay in Hiroshima truly enjoyable!
Loved working with Azusa! She was super helpful and responsive during the planning phase, and during the tour all our group members loved her and her pleasant disposition, as well as ability to provide a lot of helpful historical and current information. She was the best guide we had in our two weeks in Japan. In addition, her English is very good and can be easily understood. Thank you Azusa!
Dear Ziad san I appreciate your kind words. Thank you so much. Your comment made my day! You and your friends are vey nice to each other. You treated me as if I were a member of your group and it was great to talk with all of you. Time passed very quickly. I need to apologize for one thing. I got you up the many steep stairs in Himeji Castle. Some of your members seemed to be sore the next day. I got sore one week later. It is said the pain comes late for aged people. I hope you and your friends are not soured on this and will come to Japan again ! Sincerely, Azusa Arita
FABULOUS GUIDE!!! Will highly recommend her to friends!!!
Dear Marylin san Thank you so much for your kind words. It was raining on and off all day. However you are all bright and cheerful in that restless weather. I got a lot of energy and nice jokes from you. " Discover this covered gate!" Let me use this joke in my tours. All the best !
My husband and I truly enjoyed visiting Hiroshima with Azusa. Her English is very clear and we learnt a lot about not only Hiroshima but Japan as a whole too. We highly recommend her.
Dear Hilary san Thanks for the lovely comment and a beautiful photo. I am often said that I look like a Japanese female comedian named Haruna. I realized that in this photo. It was a short tour. I am so happy if you fully enjoyed HIroshima City's lively but laid -back atomosphere. Talking to both of you made me all warm and fuzzy. That was a fantastic time for me. The big Torii gate's repair is expected to be finished next October. Please come back to Hiroshima next fall. Sincerely, Azusa Arita
