This half-day tour includes three of the most popular sites in central Hiroshima: Peace Memorial Park (including Peace Memorial Museum), Hiroshima Castle, affectionately called Rijo (Carp Castle) by Hiroshima citizens, and Shukkeien, a strolling-style Japanese garden made by local load. Shukkeien garden
Traditional Japanese stroll garden made approximately 400 years ago by the lord of Hiroshima Castle. Despite being located in the city, it offers a peaceful retreat where you can enjoy the beauty of nature through all four seasons.
Hiroshima Castle
A historic flatland castle built about 400 years ago, affectionately known as "Rijō" (Carp Castle) by the locals. The castle tower was rebuilt after the war and now houses exhibits that introduce the history and culture of Hiroshima.
Peace Park & Peace Memorial Museum
A large park dedicated to peace. The park includes both the Atomic Bomb Dome, and the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum
This tour also includes must to see memorials, such as the Cenotaph for the A-bomb victims, Children’s Peace Monument, Memorial Mound, Memorial Tower for Mobilized students.

Hi, I'm Kahori, a nationally licensed guide interpreter, and have just started working with GoWithGuide! I’m delighted to show people around this area. For the past almost 10 years, I have mainly guided foreign medical professionals around Hiroshima City and Miyajima, gaining a deep understanding of the effects of radiation and the support for A-bomb survivors.
Hiroshima is a city of rivers and the sea. Along the rivers Cherry trees line, and the calm Seto Inland Sea, dotted with islands, creates a stunning landscape. Also, the sea has many islands called "art islands" which have fantastic arts relating to the art festival "Setoushi Triennale". In addition to our two World Heritage Sites, this area is rich in attractive resources. I hope many of you will come and experience this fascinating land. Personally, I am very passionate about modern art and enjoy sports like stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) on our rivers.
