Traditional Japanese stroll garden made approximately 400 years ago by the lord of Hiroshima Castle. Despite being located in the city, it offers a peaceful retreat where you can enjoy the beauty of nature through all four seasons.

A large park dedicated to peace as well as the Atomic Bomb and so on.
This tour also includes must to see memorials, such as the Cenotaph for the A-bomb victims, Children’s Peace Monument, Memorial Mound, Memorial Tower for Mobilized students and the ground zero.
Peace Memorial Museum
The Museum which collects and displays belongings left by the victims, photos, and other materials that convey the horror of that event.

About Tour Guide Kahori M.
Hi, I'm Kahori, a nationally licensed guide interpreter, and have just started working with GoWithGuide! I’m delighted to show people around this area. For the past almost 10 years, I have mainly guided foreign medical professionals around Hiroshima City and Miyajima, gaining a deep understanding of the effects of radiation and the support for A-bomb survivors.
Hiroshima is a city of rivers and the sea. Along the rivers Cherry trees line, and the calm Seto Inland Sea, dotted with islands, creates a stunning landscape. Also, the sea has many islands called "art islands" which have fantastic arts relating to the art festival "Setoushi Triennale". In addition to our two World Heritage Sites, this area is rich in attractive resources. I hope many of you will come and experience this fascinating land. Personally, I am very passionate about modern art and enjoy sports like stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) on our rivers.
I look forward to meeting you, interacting with you, and also, learning from you!
