Kawagoe is in the western part of Saitama prefecture next to Tokyo. It is a long-established commercial town from Edo Era. Unlike Tokyo, it survived air-raids of World War Two because it was in the suburbs of Metropolitan. Thanks for that, there are lots of traditional buildings and houses of different ages in a good condition. Now then, this place is getting more and more popular not only among foreigh tourist but also Japanese tourists.

“Amazing Visit”
Kahoko was amazing!!! She is very accommodating, knowledgeable, flexible and kind. We identified a couple of spots we wanted to visit but she filled in the blank spaces with some really cool spots. I would recommend Kahoko to anyone visiting Tokyo the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time!

Thank you very much for the kindest review!! I had such a terrific time with two of you! I sometimes forgot my job because I really enjoyed talking and walking around with you. I am wondering how your pilgrim trip is going. Probably, full of excitement and challenges. I do hope you a safe and pleasant trip. Take care !

“The best tour guide ever !”
Kahoko was the most exceptional tour guide we have ever had. She was caring ,knowledgeable & very attentive to her guests. She met us at our hotel & took us ( our choice ) on local train transport to the botanic gardens where we particularly enjoyed the bonsai’s,clipped hedge’s & topiary . We had tea & cake at a tea house & Kahoko showed how tea ceremonies are done by holding and swirling the mug we were drinking from. Then through markets before touring a very old temple. Then back onto yet another train ( but most enjoyable) for our trip home . The most enjoyable 4 hours for a long was spent with Kahoko. Don’t waste your time looking at anyone else!

Thank you very much for the prompt and the kindest review ! I had such a lovely time with two of you ! I really enjoyed macya and cool relaxing time in the tea house thanks to you. Even though we spent limited time, I have learned so much things from you about your country and culture . Probably you are taking a nap after refreshing shower ?. With your message, I felt heartwarmed and will happily take a nap on the train. But don't worry, I will never oversleep. Thank you very much again and von voyage!
