Tachikawa station/Guest's hotel
- We can arrange to meet either at the Tachikawa station or the guest's hotel, depending on their preference for public transportation or if they opt to rent a car.
Starting from kamihikawa toge we will hike Mount Daibosatsu, one of Japan's 100 famous mountains. Perfect for beginners, the trail offers manageable terrain and takes about 4-6 hours to complete. Enjoy panoramic views and learn about local nature and history from experienced guides. No prior hiking experience needed!
After completing the hike, we'll enjoy a delicious home-cooked lunch at the lodge, located at the trail's starting point, before departing by bus at 13:00.
No mountain excursion is truly fulfilled without indulging in the bliss of an onsen experience. After finishing our hike we'll relax our sore muscles in the soothing warmth of natural mineral-rich waters, a cherished tradition deeply rooted in Japanese culture. Beyond relaxation, onsen baths offer numerous health benefits, from relieving muscle tension and improving circulation to promoting overall well-being. Picture yourself unwinding amidst serene surroundings, enveloped in steam and surrounded by breathtaking mountain vistas—a tranquil retreat for both body and soul.
We'll take the bus back to Kai Yamato station then head back to Tokyo.

“Great tour of music and sound bars!”
Leandra met at my hotel shortly after I arrived in Tokyo. Having been on a 13 hour flight being able to stay awake later into the night was important for jet lag. We walked around some sights in Chiyoda as she explained little temples (the only ghost with a bank account) and architecture at the train stations. While I believe she has some set places for Jazz music we bounced around different neighborhoods on the way to see the Tokyo night life and discuss the culture. Leandra is American but has lived in Japan for 7 years so it helped having some cultural similarities. All in all she is a very nice and helpful person who was easy going and made my first night in Tokyo a lot of fun.
“First Night in Japan and Jazz Club Tours”
Leandra made a dinner reservation and ate dinner with my son and I on our first night in Tokyo. Our taxi to the hotel was delayed in traffic and we thought we might loose the reservation but she worked very hard to make sure it was not lost even though we were almost an hour late. Afterwards we went to a small Jazz club in the Ueno area and my son a singer/songwriter/guitarist, ended up playing five songs with the jazz musicians. It was truly magical. She is a lovely, attentive and flexible person that loves the jazz scene in Tokyo so reach out and enjoy music with her!
“Kamakura & Hakone Tour”
Leandra was an absolute gem—knowledgeable, sweet, and simply amazing. While we strayed a bit from our planned itinerary, we were thrilled when she recommended visiting the Enoshima caves, as it turned out to be a breathtaking experience. Her communication skills were excellent; she not only assisted us in finding great places for lunch and dinner but also made reservations and helped us with entrance tickets and logistics. Leandra excels in her role, and we would be delighted to have her as our guide again in the future.
