Hello, potential tourists! I'm Yuko, Yokohama local tour guide with English government license. I have been living in Yokohama for 40 years, and have been working in Tokyo for 35 years; 20 years as a business person,10 years as a teacher, then I became a tour guide in 2015. Yokohama is a major port city, and the 2nd largest city in Japan. It is one of the most popular sightseeing spots for Japanese tourists as well. However, for non-Japanese guests who are to experience things unique to Japan, without a tour guide, it could not be so stimulating, - a beautiful harbor, traditional garden, fashionable shopping mall, which could be likely to appear not so different from Tokyo, or other Western or Asian port cities. Actually, Yokohama is very special for Japan ! Without Yokohama, Japan would not have been developed into what it is now! Would you find real attraction of Yokohama with me ? Please visit attractive sightseeing spots in Gotemba, such as Chichibunomiya Memorial Park, Tokino Sumika and Gotemba Premium Outlets, the biggest outlet mall in Japan. “Perfect day and perfect guide”
Yasuro was the absolute perfect guide for this tour. He is very knowledgeable about the area and the history surrounding the area, but he is also a genius at maneuvering the transportation system to get there early to avoid crowds. We had a wonderful day, even though it was rainy and cloudy.

Dear Diane Kovacic, Thank you very much for your generous review for me. Yes, I did hope that it was a fine beautiful day for us in Hakone with a great view of Mt. Fuji from Lake Ashi. But I am satisfied that three of us somehow managed to finish the caldera excursion tour and came back to Shinjuku in time without big troubles. To tell the truce, yesterday was my last day for Hakone & Lake Ashi tour, because, as I will be 74 years old on this May 11th, it is getting too tough for me to continue this job. “Wonderful Tour around Hakone!”

Munetaka was an amazing tour guide. He allowed us to fit SO much into one day and knew all the great spots for photos, food, snacks, and he was very knowledgeable. Even when we were just talking from place to place, he was telling us interesting facts. We had 4 kids and 4 adults (ages 8-56) and we all had fun. We did WAY more in one day than most people did in 3 days after talking to other tourists. Highlight was the ancient tea house and seeing Mt .Fuji. Be prepared to walk a lot and stay on a schedule but we appreciated being able to fit so much in
