“Kyoto Day Tour with Makoto”

We had a wonderful day in Kyoto with Makoto! He was well prepared with the days itinerary and brought us additional information about the history and areas we visited. He was kind, energetic, fun and knowledgeable. He also assisted us with our upcoming days travel plans. He looked for ways to connect with us and when he learned one of us was having a birthday on the day of our tour he found ways to make our time together extra special which was deeply appreciated. We would recommend anyone to tour with Makato and it’s sure to be a great day!

“A Day out seeing some of Kyoto. ”

4 of us had a great day with Yasu on this tour. We wanted to do some of the sights but also try the public transport too. It did not disappoint. Yasu took us on the underground, the busses and the trams, to see the following: 1. Kinugasa-Ji, the golden temple 2. Ryoan-Ji, a zen garden and temple made famous by our late Queen 3. The tram ride ( they have one line) 4. Tenryu-Ji temple with the oldest garden in Japan and 5. Arashiyama park and bamboo forest. It was very busy again…but, Yasu our guide turned out to be a delightful and engaging guide who was sprightly and knowledgeable. He moulded the day to our abilities so we saw as much that was possible. We were all very grateful to him spend his time showing us around. Thank you again Yasu. Gordon, Tony, Philip and Simon.

“Highlight - Tea Ceremony in Entokuin Temple”

We had an amazing experience with Koki who was incredibly accommodating and very easy to communicate with in the lead up to our trip. His suggestions of a tea ceremony in a 500 year old temple was so peaceful and beautiful. He was responsive, professional and made planning effortless, to the point he gave us reminders and also weather predictions. He also organized a lovely yuba lunch that was delicious. Highly recommended!!!

Hi Roshni and your family, Thank you very much for your wonderful comments. The weather on the day of the tour was fine and we were able to spend a pleasant day in Kyoto together. The matcha green tea at Entokuin was delicious and the fresh greenery in the garden was beautiful. Kyoto is full of wonderful gardens. I look forward to you again in near future. Koki
