Nagano is a cozy city surrounded by a beautiful mountain range. I enjoy strolling around its center, driving in the countryside, visiting some beautiful spots such as Zenkoji Temple, Togakushi highlands, Matsumoto Castle and so on. In March 1983, I graduated Chiba university. Major is psychology. In April 1983, I entered a manufacturing company of semiconductor components and I was assaigned to the overseas sales dept. For more than 40 years, I had done sales activities with foreign semiconductor companies using English language. I had visited foreign customer companies located in several foreign countries on once a month basis. I have stationed myself in Singapore and Malaysia for 5 years. I have homestayed in Los Angels for a month and in Oakland New Zealand for a week. I have welcomed an American teacher in my house for a week as a homestay program. I have passed the examination of Tour Guide in 2016. I have teached the skiing in Shiga Highland Ski Resort, Happo-one Ski Resort and Iwatake Ski Resort. I had guided bus passengers(most of them were Austllarian people) at the bus terminal in Hakuba-Happo. I am now teaching junior high school students English grammar.

Snow Monkey Park and Zenkoji Temple in Nagano
The park provides us a rare opportunity for us to watch the Macaque up close and observe their fascinating behavior. During winter the monkeys enjoy bathing in the hot spring. The history of Zenkoji temple started in 642 and it does not belong to any religious sect. Legend says that Zenkoji's golden triad was the first Buddhist image to arrive in Japan. After taking a walk in Nakamise street, you can enjoy Sake tasting if you like.

“Nice busy sight seeing day.”
Ken was a mellow and flexible guide. We rented a car and it was great to have Ken with us to show us around and share his knowledge with us. We enjoyed our day very much, although if you are based in Nagano, that's a lot of driving in a day and does not leave a ton of time at each stop. Would be best to do if you are staying in or near Matsumoto.

“Review of Kouhei-san”
This is not a review of the tour itself as I had to cancel due to a dumb mistake on my part that has to take up my day instead. However, I will say that planning the tour I wanted to go on and communication with Kouhei-San was excellent and smooth. He was very responsive with verifying the date I was requesting and answering a lot of questions I had about what to do on the morning of the tour. While it was very unfortunate I didn’t end up going on the tour in the end, I still left with a very positive impression of Kouhei-San and wanted to leave this review.

“Autumn walk in Obuse Town with Emi”
Emi is a professional: prompt, knowledgeable and thorough. She did a great job in planning our itinerary. It was obvious that she was well prepared, and it was obvious that she wanted us to enjoy the beauty and history of Obuse, which we did. Lunch was incredible. The day we spent with Emi was a most pleasant one, as she is personable and sincere. We would not hesitate to schedule another tour with her!
