A Wonderful Way to Gain a Tokyo Overview

Yuji is a delight! My college age daughter and I spent our 2nd day in Japan with him where he gave us an overview of Tokyo and many of the major sites. I highly recommend scheduling Yuji for your first or second day in Tokyo. In addition to sightseeing, he explained how to use the train system, how to read the signage on the train monitors, and provided insight on what to expect in Tokyo (and some for Kyoto which was our next stop). It really made the rest of our trip easier! Yuji has a delightful and fun personality. He is a working artist and art instructor as well. He attended college in the U.S., so his English is quite good. We appreciated that he wasn't rigid; when we asked for a change in the itinerary so we could make a shopping run, he weaved it right in. I twisted my knee a tad during our day together, but not bad enough that I wanted to stop the tour. He was mindful of my needs and found a drugstore where I could find some medication, and he looked for moving walkways to help reduce my step count. Thank you Yuji for giving us a great orientation to Tokyo and for your kindness. Arigato!

Leandra felt like part of our crew!

Leandra was an incredible guide during our time in Tokyo! She was knowledgeable, warm, and made every moment of our tour engaging and memorable. She was also super patient as we were a large group (8). Her deep understanding of the city’s culture and history, along with her thoughtful recommendations, truly enhanced our experience. We felt so welcomed and well taken care of. Highly recommend Leandra to anyone visiting Tokyo!

I highly recommend this great private tour

My wife and I had a great private tour with Yoshi, one of Shunta's guides. He was very knowledgeable about the area (grew up in Tokyo), very friendly, and provided a lot of interesting historical and cultural facts about where we were. He also took many photos and videos of us and shared them afterward, which we appreciated and helped preserve our memories! My wife and I did most of the popular tourist locations during our 1st trip several years ago, and so we asked Shunta to create a more off-the-beaten-path tour with lesser-known sites to visit, which turned out to be great.
