Mt. Nokogiri in Chiba prefecture came off the 2nd place of Deep Spot Ranking in Japan by Nikkei Inc.
It's a little-known but a wonderful place where only a local guide like me can take you, and this is my unique tour. I would like to help you find natural and historical wonders and feel Japanese culture.
I strongly recommend this tour to travelers who like walking in trees, and are interested in a panoramic view and Buddha statues.

It was a good guide
Giorgios-san, Thank you very much for your review. Luckily, we could see a beautiful autumn leaves in Nikko even though it was foggy. Have a good time in Japan!! Best Regards. Hideaki Murayama
The tour was wonderful, and a good learning experience! Tour- It was well-planned. The time, transportation, places and considerations for other matters were detailed and put together well. Now we know that riding the bus is actually better than the train going to Mt. Fuji, if you want a better view. We enjoyed going around the Mt. Fuji area, although Mt. Fuji was shy and only showed a part of her at the end of the day when we were on the bus home. It was nice walking around the community at the Arakurayama Sengen park because you get a glimpse of the Japanese country community life you watch in movies. We enjoyed walking up to the view deck and appreciating nature and the Shrine. At Lake Kawaguchi, we rode the ropeway and had a good view of the lake. We also had a sumptuous lunch there with their delicacy, hotou noodles. Then we went to the Oshino Hakkai area, where we appreciated the very clear, cool water and tasted chestnuts (we don't have them in our country). It is amazing how the Japanese protect and maintain their environment and respect nature. It shows what a wonderful culture they have. Guide- Mr. Hideaki was punctual, polite, patient, kind, and very helpful. Prior to the tour, he assisted with the planning and answered my questions promptly. He arrived early at our hotel lobby and helped us with the travel. All throughout the tour, he answered our queries the best way he can, and was very patient. He shared information and explained some facts about the Japanese way of doing things which was nice. He also helped other tourists who got lost. And even when we got delayed because of traffic, he still made sure we arrived at our accommodation safely without any compensation. He made our day enjoyable, and less tiring- learning and appreciating Japanese culture and nature, with less worries/anxiety on what trains or bus to catch or getting lost etc. We appreciate very much Mr Hideaki's efforts. It is nice to have a tour guide during your trip, and we hope he gets more tourists to assist in the future.
Julie-san, Thank you very much for your review. I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour even though we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji due to the weather. Actually, I feel very sad for my guests if we can’t see Mt. Fuji. Have a good time in Japan!! Best Regards. Hideaki Murayama
Took us to a Japanese garden, a temple, a shrine, lunch & shopping. He was very knowledgeable. We had a great time!
