Raizan Sennyoji Temple
Tucked away in the forested slopes of Mt. Raizan in Itoshima, Fukuoka, Raizan Sennyoji Daihioin Temple is a serene Buddhist temple with over 1,300 years of history. Founded in 742 AD by the Indian monk Seiga Shonin, this temple is a spiritual and cultural treasure, offering visitors a peaceful retreat into nature and tradition.
*Entrance fee JPY500/adult (Free under 15 years old) is not included in the tour fee.
Shiraito Falls
A beautiful water fall located on the Raizan mountain in Itoshima. The name “Shiraito” means “white threads,” a poetic reference to the delicate streams of water cascading down the 24-meter-high rock face like strands of silk.
TOTORO NO MORI "Forest path of Totoro"
Totoro Forest in Itoshima is a charming nature trail inspired by the beloved Studio Ghibli film "My Neighbor Totoro." It's a peaceful spot nestled near Keya Beach, offering a whimsical escape into lush greenery and coastal views.
KAISENDON lunch at Daimon Chaya IRORI
Tucked away in the scenic countryside of Itoshima, Daimon Chaya Irori is a delightful café-style restaurant housed in a renovated traditional farmhouse. The name "Irori" refers to a classic Japanese sunken hearth, evoking a warm, nostalgic atmosphere that makes guests feel like they’ve stepped into a rural retreat.
The restaurant specializes in fresh seafood dishes, beautifully presented and sourced locally from the nearby coast. One of its most popular offerings is the kaisendon (seafood rice bowl), which features a generous assortment of seasonal fish at a surprisingly affordable price

KEYA NO OTO "the largest basalt caves in Japan" (OPTIONAL)
Keya no Oto (芥屋の大門), Itoshima
Located at the northwestern tip of the Itoshima Peninsula, Keya no Oto is one of Japan’s largest basalt caves and a designated National Natural Monument. Towering at 64 meters high, 10 meters wide, and 90 meters deep, the cave was formed over millennia by wave erosion from the Genkai Sea, resulting in striking hexagonal and octagonal rock formations that resemble manmade pillars.
*The cave can only be seen on a boat that leaves nearby port every 45 min. The boat does not take reservation, so you will need to go to the port and see. And this service is only available between mid March and November.
*The approximate time for the trip is 45-60min (30min on the boat).
*The boat fee JPY1000/adult,JPY500/3yo-preschool students,Free smaller than 3, are not included in the tour fee.
LONDON BUS CAFE
The London Bus Cafe is a quirky and photogenic spot where two authentic red double-decker buses have been transformed into a retro-style café. It’s a favorite stop for travelers exploring the coast and looking for a sweet treat with a view.

Eat-in Bus Experience: After ordering at the counter, guests can climb aboard the bus and enjoy their gelato on the upper deck, which serves as a cozy eat-in space with panoramic views of the ocean.

Sakurai Futamigaura
Sakurai Futamigaura in Itoshima is a scenic coastal spot famous for its “Wedded Rocks” (Meoto Iwa), symbolizing marital harmony and spiritual unity. These two rocky outcrops stand about 150 meters offshore and are bound together by a sacred Shinto rope called shimenawa, representing the bond of marriage and unity between man and woman
Swing Heaven beach & the miracle driftwood

ATAGO SHRINE ”Spectacular view of Fukuoka city"
Atago Shrine is the oldest shrine in the city and one of Japan’s three major shrines dedicated to the fire deity Atago-sama. It offers panoramic views of Hakata Bay and is a popular spiritual and scenic destination.
*You can either climb the whole stairs from the main road, that takes about 15min, or drive up to the mid-level.
