In this tour, you can experience a traditional culture of Japan with your five senses. The highlight of this tour is placed on the meeting with Geisha. Not only appreciation of their professional skills, but you can have an opportunity to play a traditional games and have a picture with them. Meeting Point
At your hotel
Enjoy Matcha at Rakusui-en (tea house and small garden)
Enjoy Matcha experience at a traditional Japanese room with tatami floor in Rakusui-en. You can stroll a tiny garden there.
Kushida shrine
Visit Kushida shrine loved by local people. We can learn about shrine and Shitonism, Japanese original religion through visiting a typical shinto shrine.
Hakata Machiya Hall (former merchant's house)
Visit a former merchant's house which keeps some typical features of an old Japanese architecture. We can see how Japanese houses look like not only outside but inside. You will have time to buy some souvenirs next to this house.
Enjoy Geisha performance at Hakata traditional performing art center
Watch Geisha performance at a performance center. They will perform traditional Japanese dance in accompaniment with Japanese musical instruments such as Shamisen. After performing, you can try traditional Japanese games with Geisha if you wish. Q&A time is prepared. you can have a chance to take a picture with Geisha performed there.

Tour Important Information
This tour is only available on fixed dates. (Nov.10th and 26th) So please check first if you are available on that dates. If you are thinking of other months, please let me know your plan first. I will share the information as soon as I can get them.
If you are available on that dates and interested in this tour, please send me a message at first which date you want to join before applying for it. Because the number of
participants is limited, so I need to check if it is still vacant or not on your favorite days. I will send back the results as soon as possible if your offer is acceptable or not .
The fee includes guide fee, entry fee of Rakusui-en, Matcha experience fee and attendance fee of Geisha performance. Transportation fee (guests and guide) are not included.
At tea house and Performing Center, we need to take off our shoes.

About Tour Guide Yoshiharu S.
Hello, everyone! I am Yoshiharu, a national certified tour guide. Fukuoka is my birthplace, so I have a close attachment to this region. Though you may not be familiar with the name of Fukuoka, I assure you that Fukuoka will provide new discovery and pleasure to your stay in Japan.
I have a passion to introduce my country and regions from many points of views. Japan is a country which offers original culture and history. On the other hand, Japan has another attractiveness represented by advanced toilets with many functions, hotels with robot receptionists and so on.
The co-existing society with the image of old Japan and the present Japan with high technology definitely make Japan a more attractive place.
Not only take you to sightseeing spots and give you some explanations, but also I will help you to learn much more deeply about Japan and Japanese people, their way of thinking and lifestyle.
In Addition to the tour guide license, I have received the qualification of international kikisake-shi,.sake sommelier.

I am not a land operator. It means that I don't make reservations for vans, buses, accommodations and other things for you except I think it is indispensable for me.
I can give you some advice but, for example, if you want to charter a van for your travel, please contact taxi companies and make a reservation by yourselves.

“Great overview of a wonderful city”
Yoshi brought us to the city highlights of Nagasaki. We first went up the ropeway to get a wonderful overview of the city so we could see where we were headed for the day. Next stop centered around the atomic bomb history and peace efforts. Then on to shopping district for lunch and then Glover Garden. Overall we were very happy with the tour and really enjoyed Yoshi’s narrative!
