1day Trekking in Kiso Valley--Samurai Route
Starting from Nagoya station, visit Magome and Tsumago, 2 ancient SHUKUBA (post towns). In both villages there are unique shops and nice small restaurants, but the most attractive thing is to walk the route between these 2 villages, surrounded by nature. It will take 2 hours and a half or 3 hours. After completing the complete route, they give us a certificate.
Meeting Point
Nagoya station (Tourist Info Center)
Hiking on NAKASENDO route , between Magome and Tsumago
Strolling through the historic streets, tasting typical foods like SOBA, GOHEI, OYAKI)
Tsumago ( visit WAKI-HONJIN museum , secondary inn for feudal lords)
Ending Point
Nagoya station or anywhere you like ( Nagiso, inn in Tsumago, etc.)

Inclusions & Exclusions

lunch ( about 1000 yen, please pay for guide's lunch)

Tour Important Information
In case it rains, we had better change the date or cancel the tour. I'll contact you about the weather using message board.
There are some slippery parts on this route. Especially in winter it snows quite a lot and even in March some parts are still frozen.
I recommend you to wear trekking shoes.

Normalmente los sábados no puedo acompañarlos, pero si quieren, les ruego que me contacten de antemano.
Si quieren servicio de acompañamiento,puedo hacerlo también.
Mi área de trabajo es principalmente Takayama, Kanazawa y Shirakawa-go, pero sí puedo guiar por las áreas Ise Shima en la prefectura de Mie. Por ejemplo, las rocas de pareja Meoto-Iwa, Ise Jingu, y el almuerzo de moluscos en la cabaña de Ama( buceadoras que recolectan moluscos y algas.
Y por favor págame mi transporte para ir al punto de encuentro.
Para Nagoya ¥1200
Para Takayama ¥6000
Si nos vemos temprano por la mañana, a veces necesito hospedarme una noche antes.
En este caso el costo es extra.

Usually I can't work as a guide on Saturdays, but If you want me to accompany on Saturdays,

If you want to start the tour and I have to pick you up in the morning,
I have to stay at a hotel from the previous day.

“Wonderful day in Shirakawa-go and Takayama”

“Great visit of Takayama and Shirakawa”
Matilde was very knowledgeable. She showed us all the main places. Shirakawa, and its old houses were very interesting to visit. Matilde's English was perfect, and so was her knowledge of the places she showed us.
