“Wonderful ”
Ritsuko was absolutely wonderful as our guide. She is very knowledgeable about the history of every location we visited. She was also able to make changes on the fly as we had a very heavy rain day on our tour. I would highly recommend.

“Fantastic guide!”
We were on a cruise throughout Japan. Shimizu was one of our port stops. We were really happy we found Sayori. The 4 hour tour was perfect for our day in port. Sayori is an excellent guide. She was very personable and friendly. She was also very patient with my elderly mother. We went to Miho PIne Grove, the Ropeway, and also the fish market. We had enough time for sightseeing, shopping, and even a morning snack. What I appreciate also is that Sayori shared little bits of the culture throughout our tour. Sayori also helped us to select menu items from the restaurant at the Fish Market. She also informed us of free transportation back to the cruise ship after the fish market. If you are going to be in Shimizu, I highly recommend Sayori!

“Amazing guide!”
We were fortunate to have booked Ritsuka for our first two full days in Tokyo. She was instrumental in teaching us about the city, how to navigate the transportation system, and showing us the sights. She took us to small museums, great restaurants, places to shop, and taught us Japanese history. A true local! Book her as soon as you know you’re going to Tokyo- you won’t regret it!

March to May and September to November are the best times to visit Japan because the weather is warm but not blazing and cool but not freezing.
Of course, March to May is Sakura season, so tourism is high during this time. To escape the crowds, try traveling from December to February. June to August is hot and moist, and May to June is rainy.
