- We can meet at the hotel or train station where you are staying, or somewhere prominent. We will pick you up by car.
Arashiyama Area
Arashiyama Bamboo Grove Lane is one of Kyoto's most popular tourist spots, with a 400-meter promenade lined with tall bamboo trees, and is known as a place where visitors can take a leisurely stroll through a quiet bamboo grove.
There are also many restaurants and souvenir stores nearby.
Kinkakuji Temple
One of Kyoto's representative tourist attractions.
It is called Kinkakuji Temple because of the gold leaf on the inside and outside of the building (kin means gold).
In 1994, the temple was registered as a World Heritage Site (cultural heritage) by UNESCO.
Nishiki Market (lunch)
Nishiki Market is a narrow, five block long shopping street lined by more than one hundred shops and restaurants. Known as "Kyoto's Kitchen", this lively retail market specializes in all things food related, like fresh seafood, produce, knives and cookware, and is a great place to find seasonal foods and Kyoto specialties, such as Japanese sweets, pickles, dried seafood and sushi.
Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine
Fushimi Inari Taisha has its main shrine at the foot of Mt. It is the head shrine of the approximately 30,000 Inari shrines in Japan.
It is especially famous for its many torii gates, called “Senbon (a thousand) -torii.”
