Exciting Western Tokyo Highlights Walking Tour
This tour offers one of Tokyo's most popular districts of Harajyuku, Omotesando and Shibuya in which you will find both traditional and modern Japan. A solemn Meiji shrine, fashionable Takeshita street, Shibuya Scramble Crossing and more!! You can also enjoy Japanese food culture during the tour!!

This tour focuses mostly on the central western Tokyo, which is more like a modern district with popular fashion district for young people. Believe it or not, however, it is enjoyable for all the generations!! First of all, the tour takes you to one of Tokyo’s best parks where you can enjoy the beauty of nature even in the central Tokyo! Then the tour will take you Zojoji temple which is one of the family temples of Tokugawa shogun. This is a picture spot, and. you will enjoy the contrast of modern Tokyo tower and traditional temple! Then I’d like to show you my favorite architecture in Tokyo in Roppongi. The next destination is Meiji shrine which is a solem shrine dedicated to the Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. It is so peaceful with thousands of trees that you may forget you are in the world busiest city of Tokyo. It is called an oasis of Tokyo. Right in front of JR Harajuku station is Takeshitadori street which is lined up with catchy shops and food stands that sell coloful and fancy clothes and food. Once you enter the street, you will be enchanted by its enthusiastic atmosphere. Visiting animal Cafe or Kawaii Monster Cafe can be an experience!! Then the tour offers you the world famous Shibuya Scramble Crossing where almost 3,000 people cross from all directions without batting each other! Just standing at the site reminds you one scene from a movie! There is also a statue of Hachi, the dog which was loyal to his master. If you hear his story, you will want to take a picture or two wiht Hachi!! Shibuya Sky is a newly built Shibuya Scramble Square’s roof top observation deck. This is my favorite observatory in Tokyo!! It has an Open Air floor and you can take nice pictures there.

“Now it’s also my favourite Hakone!”
Even before we booked this tour, Eiko was helpful via messages about what to see etc. she also gave us a breakfast spot to meet in Odawara! Hakone is beautiful and this tour really let us enjoy the beauty. Eiko even managed to get us to the sights before all the crowds so our photos are amazing! She was also very interactive with our son, making sure he was occupied the whole time. At one stage we actually thought she might’ve worn him out!! Eiko also went that one step further and helped us back to the station and booked our Shinkansen tickets for our onward trip! A must do your if you’re in Hakone (with Eiko of course!)

It is said that the early bird gets the worm, and the beautiful Lake Ashi and the red torii gate standing on the lake in the early morning when there were few people around were exceptional! And we saw Mt. Fuji too!! I was very happy too.
