-The above is a model plan. I am delighted to tailor a combined tour to meet your interest.
-You can get a taste of the nostalgic history of Kamakura, the first samurai capital city, by visiting a variety of historical architectures.
-You can learn the essence of Zen Buddhism culture which highly flourished in the Kamakura period.
-You can enjoy fantastic and exciting view by walking along steep excavation, exciting mountain footpath and widely spread picturesque beach.
-It takes about one hour from the center of Tokyo such as JR Shinjuku, Tokyo or Shimbashi station to Kamakura station.
-I suggest that you should wear walking shoes as Kamakura Tour is basically walking tour.
-Whenever you get too tired to walk, I can easily arrange a taxi to bring us to the nearest points of the spots.
-It costs just over 1000 yen by taxi to Zeniarai Benzaiten Shrine/Sasuke Inari Shrine from Kamakura station just in case of facing difficulty.
-In case of bad weather like heavy rain, snow, wild wind or scorching summer heat, I reorganize the alternative route which may be easier to walk than mountain path.
-Transportation fee from Shinjuku station to Hase station for round trip is about 2,500 JPY per person.
-Lunch fee costs about 1,500 - 2,000 JPY for typical Japanese cuisine per person.

“Great tour with a great guide!”
Masaharu was a top notch tour guide for our day together in Tokyo. He knew the best spots and background of each site, including Tsukiji, Asakusa and much more. Our day was extremely hot and humid and he was very accommodating for our group, giving us time to rest and cool off when needed while still getting us to and from our multiple stops. You can't find a better guide. Thank you Masa!
