Our family of 6 did a night tour of Tokyo with Ikki a few weeks ago. He was very informative and a fun guide. He took us to all the spots we asked and then some. He gave our kids great advice on where they should come back and hang out in the club area of Tokyo, which they did a few nights later and had a great time. Ikki was really easy gong and knew his stuff so it made for a really great introduction to nightlife in Tokyo. He also gave us lots of tips on things to see on our last few days there and some new ideas we had not thought of. It was nice to see it through a locals eyes. We would definitely book to have Ikki guide us again when we come back and we highly recommend him for both young and older people. Thanks Ikki for a great and memorable tour.
Thanks for entrusting me your stay guys, I felt part of the family gang by the end of the sweet tours we had. I am so happy to have shared my insights, experiences and wisdom with you all. I appreciate your enthusiasm and thus, I was naturally being more expressive as you allowed me to enter your worlds and share that wonderful night full of organismic conversations about socio-cultural movements around the world and the dilemma that Australia is facing right now amidst multi-culturalism and being diverse. Needless to say, I felt lonely heading back home having that "emptiness" when just a while ago we were just all together. I felt connected. And when things just started to become more exciting we had to part ways so it was a sort of a melancholic then. But I am very sure that the pleasant exhanges and connection will continue to be a reverie forever in our hearts <3 Until the next time and hope that Australia remains strong amidst the wildfires due our alarming state of woldwide climate change. Truly, tours such as this, is not a tour anymore. It is a multi-cultural exchange that is apt for our vastly moving societies and accelerated interactions amongst the people here in our planet.
Very good guide, helped us perfectly to get around in Tokyo.!
❤ This trip was truly a perfect example of being a premium tour consultant and specialist on call ❤ In a very very short notice of 1 night ( less than 12 hours ) before the actual trip, I am glad I was able to make the necessary adjustments and arrangements to have been able accomodate your big group. I am so honored to have been chosen by your strong more than 25 person Delegation made of high-profile professionals, professors, art enthusiasts and cultural lovers of Japan - among the rest of other guides here. I take pride in serving and making the impossible things to be possible while keeping the standards and exceeding expectations always. The Bonsai nursery trip was definitely a kill, matched with the elegant and beautiful tea ceremony experience shared by everyone and topped with a kimono wearing experience and pictorial in the wonderful Japanese Garden filled with Bonsais and surrounded by nature. Soon after, we found ourselves in awe of the vast space around the Tokyo Imperial Palace, checking out the monument of the legendary Samurai - Kusunoki Masashige and having a joy-ride around the circumferential moat protecting the palace from ninja assasins and shinobis during the Castle's Edo heydays. As we headed to visit Harajuku and marvel at the architectural genius of Kenzo Tange symbolized by the Yoyogi Athletic Stadium (circa 1964 Tokyo Olympics), I realized that our poetic group was syncing with Haiku verses of nature and urbanization vis-a-vis the serious dilemma advance countries are having - decreasing population, lack of young talent and exodus of homebred human capital. I am pretty sure, we all had a great pleasure and company celebrating multi-"cool-tural" exchanges in unusual flavors. At the end, it was a joyful parting with terrible amounts of smiles and hugs served. Ikki was fantastic. From beginning to end. I could not have imagined a better tour and experience. Ikki covered all of Tokyo in a day's time. Not only did he provide the history of each site, but he also gave us a taste of Tokyo's modern culture. Moreover, he was so nice with a great personality and he became a close friend when it was all said and done. Thank you for everything Ikki. We had an amazing time. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a personal tour.
Thanks for the wonder time as well. Just hang on a bit as I’m still trying to edit some nice pics and will collating them all as the highlights of your Japan vacay blast. Take care of the impending typhoon and all hope you enjoy every moment you spend here. I will be here if you need any assistance all the way !
We arranged a Guided Tour on behalf of our Client who gave us extremely short notice Even though our brief was daunting at first, Ikki jumped in with enthusiasm to make the best of the trip. He met with the Host of the Group to look at options and make to make suggestions. Ikki is well spoken and professional and being a photographer, he can also provide you with photos of the trip.
It was my pleasure making the impossible become possible. The task was daunting but I am happy i was able to make out the best possible scenario out of the given options and tight situation. Please enjoy the photos and I will be sending them all shortly for your viewing pleasure. Until the next time again!
