Tokyo Station was built 100 years ago, and now it is designated as an Important Cultural Property for its beauty. There are a couple of historical buildings and a nice shopping area around Tokyo Station. Also, Tokyo Station is close to your hotel and easy to get to.

Marunouchi street
Along the beautiful tree-lined streets, there are famous brand stores, stylish restaurants and cafes, office buildings and commercial facilities. Another highlight is the changing scenery with the seasons, with autumn leaves in the fall and illuminations decorating the street in the winter.
Meiji Yasuda Seimei building, insurance company building
The first floor lobby has been remodeled into a space where anyone can casually experience "Healthy Living". It is equipped with a "My Distortion Checker" for body and the latest equipment for checking golf swings.
Kitte building
Kitte means "postage stamps". It is a commercial facility built by partially preserving and revitalizing the former Tokyo Central Post Office building.
You can see Tokyo Station from the terrace of this building.
There are local Ramen noodle restaurants in the basement of this building.
Tokyo Station
Go to see inside and outside of Tokyo Station. Tokyo Station was built 100 years ago and is designated as an Important Cultural Property. Parts were destroyed in air raids by U.S. military but were later restored. The reliefs on the dome ceiling are particularly artistic and worth seeing.
Character street and shopping area
Tokyo Station has lots of Souvenir shops. If you are traveling with kids, character streets may be a good place to find souvenirs for children.
There are Ramen noodle restaurants too.
Visit the bridge at the Imperial palace
Let's walk to the bridge at the Imperial Palace. The bridge was built in the Edo period.

“A once in a lifetime experience! Shibamata with Yuko - san”
Shibamata hasn't been discovered and overwhelmed with tourists as Asakusa has. It's got an amazing old Buddhist temple approached via a street lined with traditional restaurants and shops that take you back in time. Yuko- san knows the area and the local vendors well and ensures you have a marvelous experience. A 10 out of 10!

“Yuko is an excellent guide ”
Yuko met us at our hotel and guided us to the Japan Rail Station and arranged tickets. We travelled about 40 minutes to a tradtional Japanese town, then Yuko guided us to a 1600s Buddist Temple, still with worshippers attending, Then a pleasant Japanese lunch. Yuko put on a train that returned us near to our hotel. Yuko's English is excellent and we enjoyed an Ausrralian-Japaner cultural exchange Unreservedly recommended. Chris Mills
